Just rec'd mounted rubber stamp. Had very lt white look to it so used microfiber cloth to clean. Ink does not want to stick to stamp. Inked it several times with no success cleaning with baby wipe each time. 1st time using this type of stamp. Suggestions very much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Cheryl, sometimes firmly rubbing an eraser over the rubber will help. If that doesn't work try a quick wash in warm soapy water (dishwashing liquid). You may already have done this, but experiment with different inks.

Hi Cheryl, You didn't mention if this is a new stamp or a used stamp.
If it's used, that white may have been acrylic paint. Try lightly sanding the stamp to see if there's rubber underneath.
There are white silicone stamps. I have one and it doesn't ink up very well. If it's silicone, don't clean it off between inking. Ink it multiple times and stamp on scratch paper.
Back to red rubber stamps. One of the inks to experiment with is VersaMark followed by your regular ink.
Another trick is to lightly sand the stamp. I use a fine grained sandpaper or an emery board and lightly sand in circles.
