I've tried to find this myself, but what's up with people having "no Sunday upload" in their signatures? Is that a rule, because I couldn't find it. I'm just curious.

I think it's more of a "suggestion" than a "rule". Nice to give the girls who approve the uploads a break.
Also.... don't be surprised by seeing new uploads. (Not 100% sure of the details of this, but...) Some people have automatic uploads.... and/or can 'approve' their own.

I think if you have a subscription to the DD / Dirty Dozen you have automatic uploads. I'm not sure if that means we can skip the 'no upload Sunday' rule or not.

I was told once that the Dirty Dozen gals can upload on Sundays, & I imagine the moderators could, but the rest of us need to give them all that day's break! I think that is a good idea! They all work hard to make this such a GREAT web site!

Images uploaded to the gallery must be manually approved by a member of the SCS team, for a few reasons. First, to make sure that nothing inappropriate is uploaded. You may have seen the vulgar spam threads that Daven and the crew are battling at the moment. We want to make sure those folks don't get any ideas beyond registering just to spam the forum and start sending pictures, too! Second, they want to keep folks from using the gallery as a free online photo album for their family snapshots. Finally, it helps keep things nice and organized because the gallery mods check that images were uploaded to the correct category.
The team deserves a break for some nice quality family time, so Sundays have been designated as their day of rest. Appropriate, dontcha think? ;) Nothing new should be uploaded, because they'll be slammed when they sit down to the computer tomorrow morning to start approving again! Moderators, members of the Dirty Dozen design team (check the Fan Club page for info on this -- there's a link on the SCS homepage! ), and for the moment paid subscribers to the Fan Club are given "instant approval" privileges. Also, time zone differences will cause a gallery entry to appear to be timestamped for Sunday when it was still Saturday night for the person who uploaded it.

This the question I haven't gotten a clear answer to. If all of us fan club members start uploading, will that encourage others who aren't to do the same?
I'd sure love to know...cuz guess what? I have a 1/2 dozen to upload. Why do I wait until Sunday to get organized? LoL.
