Not only am I a newbie to this board, I'm a newbie to stamping!! I'm an "Ebayer" (can I say that here?) & someone over on those boards recommended this site to me. Am I glad she did!!! I'm not the most creative person, & I had a blast yesterday looking at the gallery of cards & other projects! I can see there are some very talented people here, not quite sure I fit in but am anxious to learn.
I'm going to my first SU party this Friday, & I'm so excited!!! It's all so overwhelming, but I was lucky enough to buy some SU stamps & embellishments at a rummage sale this past summer. A friend of mine is a HUGE stamper & wanted to get rid of some stuff. She gave me first dibs & I bought about 6-7 sets (SU) plus some singles from her. AND her SIL is a SU consultant so she gave me some old catalogs.
I look forward to learning & sharing. I've made SOME cards ~~very simple & nothing to brag about but it's a start!!! I've already learned a few things from reading the other threads ~ like don't bother buying any markers except SU! These are the things I need to know!!!
Thanks in advance for the help I foresee receiving on this board!!
Welcome to this site. It is awesome. You can spend hours and hours here looking through the gallery. I am sorta new to stamping myself. I do not have a creative bone in my body so this is a great site for me!!
