I'm a newbie.

Hi everyone

My name is Pam and I'm not only a newbie here but a newbie to stamping and embossing.
It looks like a fun hobby and I'm really pleased I have found a forum like this to help me get underway
I look forward to many happy hours on here learning, sharing and making new friends.

Hi Pam and welcome from down under (New Zealand!) This is a great forum for stampers with lots of advice and inspiration. If you haven't already, then click on 'Tutorials' at the top of the page and you will find heaps of things to try. Do ask if you have any questions as we are a friendly bunch and love to help newbies!

Hi Stephanie thanks for the warm welcome I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions so it's nice to know there are a host of friendly ears on here....I have just taken delivery of a sizzix card making and embossing 91 piece beginners kit.
Between that and the embossing clear stamp plus stamps, ink pads and crafty bits I already have I'm sure I'm going to be kept busy
Now where do I start!!!

Hi Lydia Thank you too for the warm welcome. I'm sorry I haven't replied before but I have only nipped on and off for a quick look over the few days.
I'm so looking forward to doing this lovely new hobby and making new friends to boot.

Hello from Central New York State! Oh, yes, you will be spending many, many, many, many hours here! My first time here I spend eight straight hours looking at the card galleries! Definitely look at the tool forum before you buy and maybe our mistakes will save you money! Look at the galleries to get ideas of what styles you like and then you can see the list of stamps, inks, dies, etc. to get an idea of what companies to buy your supplies from for the styles of cards, etc. that you want to make. Have fun here soaking up all the ideas!
