Default Hello from South Jersey

Hi Everyone!
I'm fairly new to paper crafting, but am having great fun with the things I've done so far. I have a couple of scrapbooks in process, a couple of Smash Books, an Art Journal, and lately, have been drawn to all things sparkly, like the twinkling H20s and all manner of glitter and microbeads.
I have found my way here several times when searching for information on Google, so I think this may be a good place to do some learning. Thanks to all of you who share your thoughts and information!

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! I love your username - cute! Have fun exploring the forum and as Lydia says, do ask if you have any questions.

Thank you both for the welcome! I use the name Seedbead in almost every forum I participate in so I am easy to remember, and because I love to bead with seed beads, and I also love to garden! My name is Lori, but I like Seedbead just as well.
I have been drawn to paper crafting lately as I am recovering from surgery, and can't do my usual work, but can't sit still either! I have discovered it is something of a slippery slope. I was just going to put some of the memorabilia in my scrap book, when I needed some adhesive. So I went to the craft store. While I was there, I thought "A few stamps would be nice"... then "Oh look! Cute little stick on pearls!" and I'm sure you know how the rest goes! LOL
I am really drawn to the beautiful work I have seen some of the ladies doing (Am I allowed to name them or give a link to their shops?) The books are for photos and journaling, and are so beautiful I'm not sure I could actually do anything with them! I have made a small art journal, but nothing like what I've seen. Maybe someday... In the meanwhile, I am having fun playing around with the goodies I have, and the scrapbooks are coming together nicely!

Hi Lori, I am also keen on gardening! Paper crafting is a great thing to do while recuperating but you are right about the slippery slope. I am happy here at the bottom surrounded by paper, stamps, inks, paints, beads, stickers, decorative sissors, mores stamps, markers and yet more stamps!
