Hello from the UK
I have just taken delivery of a MISTI tool and realised that I have very little knowledge of the best use of stamps - so thought this was a good way forward to increase my knowledge and meet others from other parts of the world at the same time. I live about 35 miles from London in Essex, UK. Lovely to meet you all

Lots of good ideas around here, and new friends to make. My in laws are in Watford, Herts.

Welcome to the forum! I'm a huge fan of British mysteries and have read them for years. I think I've read some which were set in your lovely county.

Hello from the other end of the UK! Are you a fan of heavy horses too or is your username referring to a different Clydesdale?
SCS is a very international community and folk are very willing to share their experiences and ideas so I'm sure you'll have fun and learn lots - just shout if you have questions about the site or about stamping, there's always someone who can help!

Welcome to SCS, Clydesdale_UK, and congratulations on your new MISTI! What fun you will have with it. Be sure to visit the forum just for MISTI and view some of the videos for so many great (and new) ways to use it. You will find this a wonderful place to learn and to find new friends. And hopefully, you will join in on a weekly challenge where you will be encouraged and find inspiration and ideas on how to use your stamps. So glad you are here!

Watford is not that far from us - probably just over an hour away by going round the M25 motorway

Thank you
Thank you all for your lovely welcome. I am not sure if I am posting correctly as I have no experience with forums. Please do feel free to point me in the right direction! I am sorry I haven't been back before now, but I am so busy using the great new stamps that I have ordered. I have never been successful with stamping, even though I thorough enjoy it - and at last I can make a card I am pleased with. I sell all my cards for dog and horse charities, so I don't stop
Yes - I am a horse fan. I used to have my own horses, but now past all that. I am from Clydebank in Scotland which is where the original Clydesdales come from and I bet that's where the Budweiser ones come from too. I just adore them. xx

You're posting just fine If forums are new to you, I suspect your best bet is going to be to just spend a little time exploring all the different sections to find out which bits you're interested in and then you can join in conversations if you want to or just read others. You clearly figured out how to start a new thread so you're unlikely to go far wrong, I reckon.
Oh, one thing it might be useful to know - if you want to include a quote of the post you're responding to so your reply has context if there are other posts in the thread, just hit the "quote" button at the bottom right of the post you're responding to. The forum will create your new post with that in quoted format for you. If you want to be selective, you can just delete out the bit you don't need.
Horses are beautiful creatures but I confess to finding them a little scary, too - that's a whole lot of animal if it decides to do something other than what you're expecting!

Welcome from NYC!
I love horses! Esp the big boys. How cool you had your own! Lucky!
And lucky on the MISTI-I just keep hearing more and more about it-I want to get one!
Actually the Budweisers are bred here. It's a whole to-do with dedicated farms.
Home But maybe their ancestors came from there!
This video is my fav-the lost dog commercial from this year's superbowl:
https://youtu.be/xAsjRRMMg_Q
I could just watch that every day!
But back to stamping! LOL! This is a terrific community with very talented people who are very giving of their knowledge and care. You've hit the jackpot! I am learning tons!
Look forward to seeing you around!
