Hello from TX
Hi all. I have been lurking since joining SCS in April and finally decided to jump on in. I live in Carrollton, a suburb north of Dallas, and only started stamping and making cards in February of this year. I love it and have let most of my other hobbies fall by the wayside. I go to bed thinking about which technique to try the next day and wake up eager to get to it. I'm retired (boy, THERE'S a story) and loving every minute of it. Tomorrow marks my 2nd anniversary to my wonderful husband and I have two grown children, one of whom loves to come over and craft with me at least once a week. I love this site for the varied personalities and styles of the ladies here and am thrilled to become a part of this community.

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! I feel the same way about card making - and that is after more than 10 years!

Thank you ladies for the welcome. I am trying to get through all the rules and regs but keep getting diverted by something shiny, or, in this case, "papery." SO much to learn and enjoy. I've been getting the weekly newsletter for months but nothing prepares you for actually diving in and getting to really know the site. Until you dive in and (try to) really get to know the site.

Thanks for your lovely comment on my card, Shea! That was sweet!
If you have any questions about the site, there are many wonderful stampers who will jump in to answer!

Thanks Lynn!! I can already see that everything else around the house is going to suffer. Thank goodness the kids are grown and gone.

I can completely relate! I'm retired though due to health, not of age yet. But I too dream in bed of what I can try or come up with next! I am having so much fun card making / scrapbooking that my other hobbies are probably wondering where I went. haha
Happy Anniversary!

Thank you! I want to do that as well , but I have to figure out how to get images posted still. Every time I try image is to large. So I have to figure that out, but in the meantime, feel free to visit my blog .
Have a great day!
