Hello from Shanghai
I have just joined SCS and am most impressed by the helpful tutorials and the amazing creativity evident here.
I have been living and working here in Shanghai for several years, but am looking forward to retirement within the next year or so when I shall move back home to Australia & shall have plenty of time to spend working with paper, which I love.

Makalah, Biko8666 and UnderstandBlue, thank you all for your welcome. I appreciate the friendly aura of this creative meeting place in cyber space.
I have already learnt some new stamping methods from the tutorials and am hoping to be able to try them out soon. Such a shame that work gets in the way!

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! You know, I thought you may be an Aussie from your username - and I was right! I am already retired and it is just wonderful to have some much time for my hobbies.

Parkes, whereabouts are you in New Zealand? You have such a beautiful country. We used to fly across to the South Island to ski. And thank you for your welcome.

GumBlossom, I am in Auckland and thank you for your lovely comment on our country. You have an amazing country too. I've visited Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide, all great cities.

Hi Jan, thank you for your welcome. I am having a wonderful time wandering through this site. There is so much to discover. How is southern Spain at this time of year? It's grey, wet and rather cool here.

Well southern Spain was lovely and sunny today but now we have just lit the log fire to have a cosy evening indoors after going an hour and a half up the coast on a coach trip to the new shopping mall, after seven hours walking round, my feet at killing me!,
