Hello from Omaha, NE
Hi!
I just discovered the joy (and addiction) of stamping and card making about two weeks ago. It all started because I wanted to make something pretty to give gift cards in this holiday season.
I found this website I was searching around for instructions and ideas. I hope to learn a lot and this hobby to what seems like an ever growing list. I also do beading and quilting, when I have time.
I am a stay at home mom of 5, wife and full time college student on top of my love for crafty things. Speaking of school, I have two final exams tomorrow and a paper to finish that is due tonight...so I probably should go be productive. I am looking forward to the end of the semester so I can be creative and focus on the holidays.
Have a great week!
Angela K.

Welcome, fellow Nebraskan!!!
This is an awesome community with tons of friendly and helpful people. I hope you enjoy your time here!
I have only seen one other Omaha-area person on here. We should do a get-together if we find more! I'm doing a craft fair in Elkhorn on Saturday, as a matter of fact!

Hi
BusyMind,
I don't suppose you are talking about the Craft Fair at Hillrise Elementary?? As far as I know that is the only one going on Saturday in Elkhorn. I am going to try to go to that one, after all it is held at my kids school.
Nice to meet you!
Angela

Nice to meet you, too! It was the one at Hillrise! Did you make it there? I had soldered pendants and lots of papercrafts.

well it's been a long time since I looked for Neb people, glad to see some of us posting, I see a couple new names here, Rowena, and the starter of this thread. I was born and raised in Omaha, I was gone for many yrs and came back----WHY!!! I hate the 4 seasons, but it is a good place to raise kids. I have lived in Omaha, Bellevue, Valley, and now Omaha again but this area I will always call Millard I'm out betwen 180th & 192nd st just inside Sarpy Co. so just south of Harrison. Glad to see you girls.
