Hello Just Introducing myself
I have been lurking about your site for a while now and decided it is finally time to join as I am officially adding cardmaking to my insatiable craft of Scrapbooking!
I am 24 and recently got married, but my husband is currently deployed. And I am a full time graduate student residing in Southern California.
I am really excited to be joining you guys and learn more about card making and such!

welcome to Splitcoast, good to hear that you've decided to stop lurking
the CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) puts on a twice-yearly trade show for craft-related manufacturers, retailers, etc. The show is dominated these days by papercrafting companies of all kinds. This last summer CHA did their first-ever consumer show, where the general public was invited for a couple days of learning, shopping, etc. The winter session of the show is held at the Anaheim Convention Center at the end of January and it's been announced that the consumer show (the SuperShow) is going to be continued. If you stick around you'll hear more about it as the show date approaches, we attend each session of the show with our main mission being to hang out with advertisers and community members. Maybe we'll see you there

OMG! I live about a 45 minut to hour drive from Anaheim. I had wanted to go last year, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how as a non retailer I could go! I really want to go, but I don't know if my hubby would appreciate what it does to his bank account.
