Hi: I'm new to Splitcoast. My name is Sharon, and I am just a stamper with "no time to stamp". I've been uploading cards for a week now, and I just love it! It is so much fun!!! I do have a question, and I don't know if I'm in the right place, but I'll try. I am getting my cards uploaded just fine, but when I post a comment on someone elses card, I would like to add a link to My Gallery and I can't figure out how to do that. Can you help me, or perhaps direct me to the right place. Thanks so much. I'm so glad to be here -- it is so much fun!!! Sharon

What you have no time to stamp! Wow I just checked out your gallery, 4 of your cards are now in my favorites! Please keep posting those beautiful cards. I love your work!
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
Thank you ladies so much for your uplifting comments!!! I don't have time right now, but I'll try putting in my link later today on a post. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it!!! And about no time to stamp -- this site has pushed me to try to do just one card a day. I don't know if I can keep it up, but I'll certainly try -- at least a card or two a week would be good!!! Again, thanks so much.
Hi again: Thank you all so much for the warm and gracious welcome. I can tell this is a place where I will spend far too much time! It is taking time to figure everything out, but I guess it will come -- fun trying!!! It looks like there are many groups going on here as well -- I need to invetigate those next -- I need help dieting and I think I saw something of that nature. Well, again, thanks so much for everything! Talk to you again later, I hope!
Welcome, your work is beautiful. After you post a comment on a gallery photo there is a link to your gallery in the tan box below your comment. Anyone can click on that and get to your gallery (which I recommend!)

Hi Sharon & welcome! Another way is to add a link to your gallery in your automatic signature. You can set that up by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of the site when you are logged in. Then click on edit signature on the left side of the page. You can add your name, a link to your gallery, a quote, whatever you would like. Then you don't have to worry about signing your posts, it will always be there! Your gallery is just gorgeous!
Thanks, Tricia. I think I'll try that later tonight when I have more quiet time. Thanks for your nice comments. May is a month filled with activities and special days for us always, meaning tons of cards, so I just decided to try to start a gallery as I'd be making a lot of cards this month anyway. It has been so much fun, and I believe the fact that I know I will be putting the card "on display" so to speak, pushes me just a bit more to try to come up with something I hope others will like, as opposed to just making a card and thinking "oh, this will do". I like this challenge!!! And it has been fun talking to so many of you nice ladies out there -- again, thanks so much for your advice -- I'll give it a try later tonight. The only bad thing -- I really don't have this much time to be at this silly computer -- !!!!! --- looking at all these cards in all these galleries is very addicting, and time consuming!!!! But I love it -- I just have to learn to balance things here -- Talk to you later --
Well, I needed to make another card last night, so I figured I might as well try a challenge, so I did the Color Challenge. It was my first challenge ever! I didn't have exactly all the right colors, but I worked with what I had, and I think it came pretty close to the right colors. It was actually a lot of fun. I probably would not have chosen these colors together just going down to stamp on my own, with no direction. So, to all of you nice new ladies who have stopped here to say hello, I encourage you to try a challenge -- you will enjoy it!!! Again, thanks so much to all of you for everything -- this is a really nice place to be -- happy stamping!!!
Well, I posted last week that I got a sizzix machine, and also the Sizzlits Alphabet set "Bounce". I also got the converter to maker everything work.
We for some reason, I though you put the paper in on top of the sizzlits, with the sizzlit side up. I've done about 8 letters and it has just come to me, that I have been doing it wrong. I hope it didn't ruin those 8 letters. Also, if you have this machine, you definitely need a Xyron, otherwise its a pain in the next to get adhesive on everything.
Hi Diane: Well, I live in Michigan, and I see you live in Colorado, so actually getting together to stamp seems to be quite a stretch -- but we sure can keep in touch via SCS!!! I just clicked into your gallery, and I had to chuckle. Several of your cards from Petal Print and Roses in Winter had been saved in my favorites -- great minds must think alike!!! I then scrolled down and was interested to see your stamping/quilting room -- particulaly your stamping cabinet. You must be the most organized person on earth!!! I do like an organized system as well, and mine is fairly well organized, labeled, etc., but more often than not my table in overflowing and one wouldn't think I have any system at all!!! Well, it's been nice getting to know you -- I'll be watching for more of your posts!
