I'm new :)

My name is tara vian I'm a 41 year old stay at home mom. I live in sweet home oregon .I'm just starting to do crafts. I get together with my mom and 3 sisters to do crafts. My sisters and I are going to a scrapbook and craft retreat in may for 3 nights. I'm very excited about that. My mom and sisters and I are going to try to do some of the craft fairs next christmas. I have yet to get anything made lol. Any ideas of what sells good?

Hi, Tara, and welcome to the SCS forums.

There is a section in the forum called Techniques. Go there and look for a long-running thread about Craft Fairs. The thread has lots of good info and ideas.

I did a run of craft fairs several years ago and enjoyed it, but didn't make enough money to justify the time and expense. I think it depends on your area and the economy as to what sells well.

I live in a large metropolitan area, and there are so many shopping malls and stores here. I think that may be why craft fairs don't always do too well here.
