How to link to another card

Hi - I have been trying to figure out how to link to another card - such as in the challenges, FS - etc. and I have had several people try to explain it to me - but I just don't get it . Something simple probably just is not clicking in my brain -- any help appreciated. I am new to SCS but have loved looking in the galleries and challenges for a long time. Decided to try and play - but I am stuck :( --

Hi Judy! I'd love to see you play! You'll be a pro in no time. Here are some instructions - let me know if you still need help!


1. Load this week's Featured Stamper challenge thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.

2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Gallery."

3. Click on a card you have uploaded for the challenge. At the top of your browser, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.

4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Add any notes for the challenge hostess about your card.

5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.

Ok- this did not work for me - lets start from #1 - Load this weeks FS challenge in your first brower tab.- do i get to there from Web. site brower or go to upload a card first?

I hate that I am do dumb with this *~*

You're not dumb! Don't worry - once you do it a few times you'll be fine.

Okay I see you've already posted in the FS thread for this week. So in your first browser tab, click this link: FS298 {10/21/2012} It's No Disaster... by bfinlay at Splitcoaststampers


Open a new browser tab.


go to Splitcoaststampers Galleries: The Cat's Pajamas, My Favorite Things, Scor-Pal, Stamping Bella, Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, Taylored Expressions, The Greeting Farm, Unity Stamp Company, Verve Stamps, Your Next Stamp in that new browser tab. Click My Gallery. Find the card you want to link to. Click it. Copy the link in your browser address bar - go back to tab 1 with the challenge, click reply, and then paste your link!

Oh - and you do need to upload your card to the gallery first - I have a video linked in my signature to teach you how to do that. It's where it says "Upload your art"

I think I need to make another card for another challenge and start over -- but not tonight - whewwwwwwww that was too much like work. LOL Thanks -- I may need to call on you another time -- thanks for your patience.
