You are so sweet to want to make 21 stamped items for your daughter's class!!

I teach first grade and I know how much fun party day can be!! I think the popcorn slider is a great idea. Here's another idea for a box that you might like to try...

And I've attached a word document with detailed directions from Amy Celona.

You could fill with candy or small erasers or toys. Kids love to open some thing for a surprise (don't we all!).

Or, if you feel like purchasing 21 small fruit cans you could try the pop tops that everyone has been talking about lately...here's a link..

LEt us know what you decide! And have fun...

I just made the hot chocolate holder with a candy cane for a stirer is stirer a word?). The kids and the parents just flipped for them so I'd say just go with that! They are economical and just down right fun to do!

I made bookmarks for my son's first grade classmates. I'm supposed to read a holiday story to the kids tomorrow, so I thought afterwards I'd hand out the bookmarks. I was also planning on making little sour cream containers with a treat inside ... however ... my first grader is sick, so it doesn't look like he'll be going to school! :(

My sixth grader is sick as well, and my 4th grader isn't sounding so hot today either!!! It's going to be a loooong week!!

OOHHH, never thought of making little hot cocoa packets for the students. I planned on bringing in some pretzels for the kids, but this would much more fun for them, I think. Gotta go back to the store and get some cocoa and candy canes. Gonna have to check out the gallery and see some cute ideas!!! I'm thinking we might have a snow day tomorrow, atleast that's what the weather is looking like. (let's keep our fingers crossed) and then that'll give me all day to make 50 of these (I have 2 boys with about 25 kids in each class). Oh, now I can't wait!!!

Default 1st Grad gifts

Last year I did baggies with red cherries in them. Titled them Rudolf's spare noses.

I teach first grade and I made them each a bag of snowman soup. I put a little cello bag with hot chocolate, marshmellows, hershey kisses and I candy cane. I topped with with a bag topper. They loved it!

I teach first grade and we did the snowman soup too. But my kids made their own. I stamped all the images but they did the rest. They loved it!
