Gallery Etiquette Questions

Hi,

I am having great fun looking at everyone's beautiful creations in the Gallery. I figured out the save to favorites and now have an etiquette question. If I see a card and don't quite understand the technique used...is it okay to email the creator to inquiry? Is there a forum to do this?

Thanks again!
~Amy (who is already creating a new wish list for my next order...)

I personally have just pm'ed the person myself! Everyone has been awesome about it and very willing to share information with everyone else! :)

if the technique is mentioned you could do a search for it and that might bring up the directions.

There's a techniques forum, but you can PM or e-mail the person who made the card. or sometimes what I will do is ask in my post on the card. The person who made it will mostly likely go back and read what everyone said. If it's a card that's been in the gallery for a while you're better off posting a thread for everyone to see or send the artist a PM.

I get pm's & emails all the time asking how to do techniques. I try to answer them right away. I sometimes forget to check my cards regularly, so I wouldn't just post a question there by the card (although, come to think of it I do that too). I've also posted questions about cards then haven't been able to find them later. So personally, I think emailing or PMing the person would be the best way to go.

First I would check the Techique section of the forum - questions about how to do a lot of the techniques are posted there - I get a lot of information doing a search for the technique and reading the thread - or if you don't see the topic listed just create one and you are sure to get a lot of responses.

You can always ask as a post to the card - and as far as I can tell everyone here loves to share (or else they would not post their creations) so go ahead and send the creator an e-mail...
