I stumbled across this site a few days ago and was so impressed I had to join! I've been stamping for about 3 years now and just recently got addicted to scrapbooking. I can see there is a lot of talent here to learn from!
Welcome Hoosiergirl! Its always great to have new people here. You will soon be addicted like the rest of us...just so you know...so if you have a husband and/or kids get them ready. Maybe you should go ahead and cook up some dinners in advance for them.

Hey HoosierGirl, welcome!! Be careful though, you'll find yourself glued to the computer and may not get as much stamping done.... but the ideas you will get!!!!! I'm gonna be your way - actually south though -- Indy area, in December as my kids and I are coming home for Christmas - they are praying for a white one!!
Hello from another Hoosier. I'm in Indy. You will soon be just like the rest of us. Can't be away from this site for more than a couple hours at a time. Welcome
I'm a Hoosier at heart and lived in Indy until 4 years ago when we were relocated to KY (which we now dearly loved; however, I'd trade Cincy for Indy any day of the week). My hubby graduated from Valpo.
Welcome to the site, Hoosiergirl! I just hope that is 'hoosier' as in 'from Indiana' and not that OTHER kind of hoosier! I'm a Boilermaker, myself!
Glad you joined the ranks--we need more Indiana girls around these parts!

That is too funny! I am from Indiana as well. Born and raised in West Lafayette. I never introduce myself as a hoosier, I am a Boilermaker!!
It's so good to "hear" from all you Hoosiers! I, too, am from NW Indiana... Monticello...you know, the "there's more than corn in Indiana" ...the Indiana Beach jingle that put this small resort town on the map! I've been addicted to SCS for several months and want to thank everyone for sharing your techniques, pictures, and everything. I can't stay away for even a day! Oh, and I'm a Boiler all the way!! (Live 30 miles from PU and am in Boiler country at least once a week).
Welcome, HoosierGirl! Another Hoosier here, born and raised in South Bend, (Go Notre Dame!!!) and transplanted by the Navy. We'll be there at Christmas time, too....the only time of year we see snow is during Christmas!! Glad you're here, and I LOVE Valpo, had a friend there in HS that I went to visit.
Beverly, you're a Hoosier, too??? I KNEW there was a reason you seemed so familiar!!

Welcome, Hoosiergirl! Once again, another Hoosier here. (I agree with NavyWyf....Go Notre Dame!) I was born and raised in Mishawaka. We moved to Texas 5 years ago. I miss the fall colors and would scream for some Chocolate Charlie at Christmas time!
OMGosh, Angie....another Mishawaka gal! So nice to see you! I remember the first time I flew back in to South Bend after visiting somewhere, and when the plane was landing you could TELL it was the South Bend/Mishawaka area, because every 10th house had the Irish Logo on the ROOF! lol  I've never seen that many leprechauns since, either. We had friends who had their whole garage door done w/the Leprechaun. My Dad has a "Notre Dame" room, full of memorabilia including pics of my brother and I when we were little with Ara Parseghien (Sp?)
Gotta LOVE the Hoosiers!!

Ohhhh my gosh, I haven't thought about Indiana Beach in about 100 years. I was born in Washington, IN then transplanted to Calif as a baby and then back again when I was a Freshman in HS, lived outside of Crawfordsville and then transplanted back to Calif when I was 21 or 22.
Oh yeah, my first job right out of HS was at Purdue!
I've always lived in Indiana and found out about stamping almost 9 years ago ! There are an amazing number of addicted Hoosier stampers so glad you're joining us here - great site !
Welcome once again from a re-planted Hoosier, I'm orginally from WA state. I'm in a small town just south of Indianapolis (Beech Grove). But welcome anyways, you will love this group, there is incredible talent at every corner.

I grew up just north of South Bend, IN in the St. Joe/Benton Harbor, MI area. We drove down to the other time zone all the time
I went to college in Anderson, IN at Anderson University. I loved living in Anderson. I considered staying there long term, but DH (boyfriend at that time) got me to move back to California and marry him.
Hey, fellow Hoosier (and Boilermaker, and Sycamore, and Irish, and every other flavor) Stampers! I'm having a stamp camp at my church in Bicknell (near Vincennes, SW Indiana) on Saturday, October 30 at 10:00. The projects are a matboard journal and pen, Christmas card, gift box, gift tag, and gift card holder/ornament. Stamp camp fee is $10. We're also having stamping/babysitting for $3 a child. All fees, plus my 20% instant income from any orders placed, will go directly to our rectory carpet fund. Please email me at [email protected] to register.
I used to live in Indiana when my DH was in college ( he went to ISU then Rose-Hulman).
My in-laws still live in Terre Haute. I sure miss this time of year there. My mother -in-law wanted me to go out there for the "Covered Bridge Festival", but my DH said that we could either go out for the festival or go to Indiana for Thanksgiving . I chose Thanksgiving. His brother and family are coming up from Fla. and I want to see them.
Are any of you SCSer's from the T.H. area?
