Some of the criteria for giving (or not being able to give) blood is either silly or outdated, in my opinion.

Good afternoon y'all. I'm having trouble getting motivated today. DH is working days through the weekend so I'll have lots of quiet time to work on things as I need to. And as long as I don't make too much noise after 9 I can work on things as late as I'd like. I think I'll look around the house and see what needs the most attention and owrk on those areas.

I'm having motivation issues too. Well...I AM motivated to sit on my butt and do nothing! Does that count? I was also motivated to eat that mountain of cookies.... There goes that awesome workout I did this morning!

Hi guys! Wrote a big post this morning, but apparently didn't hit submit, lol!

It's been interesting today! Had coffee and muffins at a friend's house and another mom and her daughter came, so that was really fun. We all ended up coloring in coloring books. Eden ate a marker. Then, Jeff was home when we got back along with some guy doing tests required by the city because we have an irrigation system (which is hilarious because we aren't big yard people). Jeff left early since we were here to let the guy in and out and was going to try to get by the chiropractor. I get a call 15 or 20 minutes later from Jeff saying that the guy was lying in the road when he got outside having a heart attack and that he was at the emergency room with him!

I'm not doing much right now partly because I'm kind of stunned and partly because we have to take Frisbee to the groomer soon, so I can't really start anything big.

If you'll let it count for me, I'll let it count for you. LOL

The girlies came over while their daddy mowed the yard for us (kinda) and we finished a roll of cookies I started a while back with them. Cut, on trays, in oven, out of oven and pans washed by me...decorated and packed up to go to their house by them. I've been pigging on the sausage balls I made a few days ago. I'm thinking it is a salty thing though I'd love a pan of brownies.

Supper will be either chicken/noodles, etc or chicken something else (I can't remember what they are called) with chips and salsa.

We have thunder and it has gotten darker here so it sounds like the higher temps (88*) has dropped and we're getting those lovely Spring/Summer thunder storms. I'm just hoping we don't have the ugly we've gotten the last 2 weeks.

I've got the rambles so I'll close for now. Hope everyone has a great rest of your day.

The guy is being transferred for emergency surgery. I'm hoping whenever someone comes for his truck that they will let us know how he is.

I spent 2 hrs at the Credit Union filing out paperwork and talking to the boss lady. It was very promising! There may be more opportunities there than I thought!

I'm thinking about unplugging for the weekend. Haven't done that in a long time and I think it's time. Does it seem funny to you when people announce it? I just woudn't want someone messaging me needing something and I'm not getting it. But I don't really think I'm in that much of demand anyway!!

Oh my word, Paula! I hope he will be ok!!

My list didn't all get done - I never got down to my craft room because my son stopped by and we talked for an hour or more. That was nice, but I still need to make those cards. Hopefully tomorrow!

Hope you all have a great weekend. I probably won't check in again until Monday.

TTFN!

I really didn't get much done today at all. I did get 1 load of laundry washed & dried and made supper and cleaned up dishes. I worked in my craft room 15-20 minutes. That will just about total all of what I've done today. Mostly I've just sat totally unmotivated on most levels today.

Good morning y'all.

Last day at sea. Dh has a ship behind the scenes tour this morning. He will be gone 2.5-3 hours. We will have to pack today as we leave the ship early tomorrow .☹️ We are talking about signing up for next years cruise! They give us a great deal on board.

Not sure what else to do today.

Good morning!

It's cold and wet here today. It's 37*....yuck. I have a feeling that snow that was forecasted will be making an appearance soon.

We (our family, both of Brent's brothers and their families, and his sister and her family) are all heading to Port aux Basques today to go to the pool. I've got some allergies on the go, so not sure how I will fare out. Hopefully I will be ok to get in the pool. If not, I'll sit on the sidelines and watch!

Hey! We went downtown today to a handmade fair and also to the capitol building and grounds. We are planning to go to comicon tomorrow. That's pretty much the whole weekend. I did get a shower, read in my book, and knitted a few rows on the baby blanket for my friend. I baked two pans of mini muffins, which are all gone. I need to sweep the floor in the kitchen before I lose my mind. #somanycrumbs

Just checking in tonight...it's been really really hard to stay off social media, but I have. Just had to tell you that we have everything checked off our graduation to do list!!! Now this week can just be about last minute cleaning and housework and even cooking maybe! But I don't think I have much to cook b/c the meals we picked out to have while everyone is here are easy and grilled.

I got a few things done today. Along with the things that I marked off of my list I

Made dessert (cherry cobbler)
washed another load of dishes after putting the first one away
spent 20 minutes each in my craft room and on my back porch
cleaned my front porch
worked on my grocery list

Tomorrow my dd2 will be coming over and I hope to get rid of a few more things from my house. I'm also taking a few things to dd1 next week. YEAH for getting rid of things.

You should come with us in October . What cruise line did you take again, and was your dining room issue taken care of?

I'm a bit envious, how is it you moved and still are close to comicon?
Have you heard about the guy yet? Hope he is ok.

My groomer is booked so far in advance my littles can't get in until June 9th, we will all have long hair by then. I wish I could get lessons to do it myself....

So yesterday we had a nice day. Started with Me making breakfast of raisin bread French toast in the waffle maker, then Ash and I hit the gym. When we got home I got myself and the puppies baths ( and of course it's raining today) then Ed said let's take a ride to the city to go to Aldis because the closer one is closed for renovations. So we went to the grocery store there for dog treats because our smaller one rarely has them and I coupons that totaled $14 in savings for their treats alone. (Yay!) then we had dinner at Red Lobster, which was a bit disappointing, then the Aldis had some things ours usually didn't have, so that was nice. We love the gyro kits, but we rarely find them. Once we brought the groceries home we went to Lowes for garden stuff. This afternoon we are going for a ride to the neighboring town that has super nice green houses, and lots of them. Then next weekend we will visit local farm green houses. I could walk around them for hours. Ed not so much.

Have a great day.

Wouldn't that be fun!
We were on Royal carribean.
Yes dining room issue fixed.😉 Then we found out we could have been eating in the restaurant for suite guests only. Ate there last night it was wonderful!!!

I just don't know how people can be grumpy on a cruise. Everyone else we met were fun and happy.😀

Have you heard about the guy yet? Hope he is ok.

My groomer is booked so far in advance my littles can't get in until June 9th, we will all have long hair by then. I wish I could get lessons to do it myself....
We have not heard anything yet. I'm hoping Jeff can find out from his secretary tomorrow how he is.

There are comicons all over. We used to go to comicpalooza in Houston. This is a much smaller one on Des Moines. There are a couple of big ones in Chicago that we might try for another year. The biggest one is San Diego, but I don't know that we're cool enough for that one, lol.

Good morning y'all - it is way cooler here today than yesterday but we had a thunderstorm rain last night/this morning so not totally unexpected. It is now 57* with an expected high of 67*. Yesterday we were up around 90*. The skys are grey today as well.

Today I'm going to work on my list. With the temps being down a bit I can work more on my porch.

Boy this thread has been quiet this weekend. I guess we're all a bit busy with other things. DD2 came over this afternoon and I am now 2 lawn chairs, a lawn table, a comforter, and a wooden school desk less now. YEAH!!! OK so the desk will be put upstairs in the attic for a while but still it is out of the inside of my house. She also wants a tv console shelf thingy that I want to replace anyway so... Yeah! again. I've still got to clear it off and am looking at borrowing dsil's truck Memorial day week to get some dirt and move that piece of furniture.

Home! Vacation is over...may the memories hold for a long time to come...

Cold outside...dressed warm for inside.

Most everything put where it belongs. Few snack items in a bag. Going to have a quiet afternoon then have emails to answer...got many while I was gone...that was unusual.
