Someone is going to bean me with a wood mounted stamp BUT...I'd love to have another cold snap and some snow. BUT...it's March. So, maybe. Not. I think I"m feeling a need to hibernate and do crafty things. I haven't had enough of that!

Our grass is green. Our ground is muddy. We had a good cold snap in early January and a couple snows in February. Time for tulips and...yeah baby chicks and rabbits. It's been a strange winter - big snow storms and big rains.

Onward and forward. Left, right, left...left...left, right left...left

It's gonna be a long month. I'm tired already.

Ready for my 31 day March...probably won't be in sync with anyone else since I walk to the beat of a different drummer...

Had that as a poster when I was teenager...and it had Snoopy on it with a drum...still makes me smile.

Jayne, you can talk about anything on here...and it is seldom that anyone blasts someone else...I've ducked a few times but remember I've been on here since 2005...uhm...maybe I should retire soon!

There isn't anything specific about the March of 31 days...its just a joke from my husband long, long ago...that he says on the first day of March...are you ready for a March of 31 days? So we humor him...and the last day of March he tells me how tired he is because he's been Marching for 31 days...

Happy Sleep tonight...can you see the moon yet? It is gorgeous here this morning.

Company has decided they will leave this afternoon...hope they stay for lunch so they can help me eat more of the burrito mix I have in the fridge!

Morning plan:

chicken in crockpot
thaw hamburger
make grocery list
stay in room until 7:30 AM
move to stamp room until company wakes
make breakfast
wash dishes
color
talk
listen
color
grocery shop if company wants to go along
color
after company leaves start soups

Supper-grilled hamburger steaks

Happy Marching ladies.....I like the joke that your hubby started Faye and which you ladies have kept going....and it sounds as though Melissa has got off to a good start. Not sure I can march well...more like march, limp, March, limp...but I'm working up to marching lots by the end of the month.

Faye, I read your question out to hubby on the moon and he asked if I would like him to check....I'm currently riceing but will soon have to stop as I doubt I will be able to march with my right leg to bed...it feels very numb and makes me wonder how the explorers coped in the Artic......so hubby heads outside and tells me that the moon is full and 30 degrees up from the eastern horizon...he also adds...that explains your mood today . Full moons affect me.

Today....strange day and my excuse is lack of sleep. Late night yesterday staying up watching a show; an email from a golf friend that unsettled me regarding future competitions...and hubby is in charge of....worrying if I upset people with my posts....and so my head is marching along today. Lack of sleep affects my mood and can send me into a tizz...

Hair Shorn
Friends visited and I ate cake....second...nope 3rd sugar hit for today
Dinner cooked...eaten...salad and BBQ chicken..again
Watched 3 videos on scrapbook design...2nd time watched these in the past 5 years...I need a reminder...
Looked at craft table and creativity mojo missing
Chatted with eldest son...he actually said the L word to me...not heard often and that set the floodgates opening.....
Rice'd...again
Middle son and fiance sent text to say will meet us Saturday for brunch....another happy moment
Youngest son sent message to say he's in Salento...need to check where this is in Columbia...unusual for all 3 to contact us in 1 day but happy moments

Hubby asking if I'm ready to watch a show or do I need sleep...my decision making process is shot today....so I'll sit on this for a moment.

Nite...enjoy your day everyone

Good morning yíall.Didnít sleep well last night.
Iím worried about dson, surgery, will they make it back home tonight, will I have to deal with the grandkids alone tomorrow. Normally I wouldnít worry about the last one but itís a special day at schoool tomorrow and I donít want to mess it up for Zack.
Wonder if I brought some anti anxiety oils with me. I will look after ddil gets back home.😉

Yep. Zack wanted to be a red fish. Ddil bought him red pants and shirt. Then she made him a fish hat and tail and find out of construction paper. Gotta figure out how to get them safely to school.

Maybe dress him after he gets there...or does he ride a bus?

I would be traumatized at that age if I had to ride a bus with older children. (Okay, so I was traumatized even when I didn't have to wear dress up clothes on the bus!)

Last night, I took a new supplement combo that my dr recommended... I slept good but had a hard time waking up. I’ll try it a couple more times & see if it’s something I’ll continue. Thankfully, my family can start their day without me.

Morning! Kids are at school. I feel like I have a lot of things going on today, but it's entirely possible most of them are in my head, lol.

Thursday:

Get dressed for real (was running behind and just tossed on clothes to go to school)
Put away all the costumes from last night

Dishes
Laundry - washing x2, drying x1, folded x 1
Room rescue my room

Clean out the fridge
Email principal about school supplies
More room rescues
Sweep
Vacuum - my room
Get kids
Make energy bites

Make muffins
Teacher conference
Bedtime
Craft
Read

Decide about tomorrow's outfit - I think I know what I want to do!

There is a Disneybound challenge all month long on instagram this month. (Disneybounding is dressing like a character or place with regular clothes and maybe getting details in with special jewelry or hats or purses, no real costumes and props.) I won't do all of the prompts, but I'm hoping to do several. It makes me really happy. I have to work around the weather, of course, so that complicates things, too. Today is Big Hero 6 and I have 3 options. We'll see what is the most wearable. Tomorrow is Disney sidekicks and that is really open-ended. I need to narrow that down asap.

Or else tAke it on days when you know you can sleep in. It’s great that you have found something that will help you sleep!

It has been raining here for days, our grass is brown and soggy. With so many wet spots even on side walks this morning the white puppy has a brown tummy so she needs a bath today.

So, my criptic message. I can't share yet unless you want to text me. Its making for a bit of choppy waters but in the end I think it will be good for everyone. Even with tears.

woohooo Eden!

Okay, so this was more like kitchen counter rescue while talking to Dad on the phone, run Eden to the potty when she started peeing in the kitchen, give Eden a bath, talk to Mom on the phone, room rescue bedroom (full disclosure: I'm concentrating on what you can see in the mirror for when I take my Disneybounding picture), and start washing a load of reds/pink laundry.

TDD:

Unload the dishwasher
Clean my mirror
Take picture

Frustration about the oil change yesterday got to me...so...I looked in my owner's manual and called Wolfe Motors today...

Got an employee who walked me through and helped me to understand that I was wrong!

My last comment was...I will need to work on accepting this as the way it is when I come to your business.

At some point I will ask that they not charge me for the full extra quart since it doesn't all fit in...and I'm paying for a quart!

OR...I decide to go to my favorite local gas station where I never get an oil change because I have to find a place to wait elsewhere.

I have 5,000 miles before I need to make a decision again...

I can't imagine them not charging for a full quart, I would ask for what is remaining and take it back for the next change so they can use it.

What was it you were wrong about?

I thought the Escape held only 5 quarts but this vehicle is a 2.0 boost and holds 5.7, which I was looking at specifications for 1.5 boost Escape, which holds 4.3.

I was wrong...but now I know how this place charges and I can ask my gas station guys what it will cost in town...we have always gone to the place we purchase our vehicles which isn't the gas station!

I had asked about it yesterday when I paid the bill, the guy gave me what I thought was a flippant answer and it bugged me...

Today when I was in the Escape I got out the owner's manual and found the information, decided I would call and talk to the guy who was the service person on duty yesterday...

He wasn't, Amanda asked if she could help me...so I told her my frustration and asked if she could help me understand why I was charged for that which I didn't think even would fit in my vehicle...

She did a very good job and I will send Wolfe Motors a note expressing my appreciation for Amanda's help...I don't know Amanda, never had her help me before.

But yes, I thought about asking for my 1/3 extra to take home...I'd pour it down the place I think snakes live!

One of your answers made me wonder why her comment was sweet...

When I read the post early this morning I wondered how she thought "lazy" was a compliment...and I decided I wouldn't ask...

Now I realize the "L" word was love...

Not a word often used by my family members...

Neither is lazy...

But realizing Jayne is loved rather than lazy makes me smile!

Home now and since I don't work tomorrow, my brain is already on weekend mode. I ran errands on the way home from work, so that's done. Before I get firmly entrenched in my craft room:

TDD
load of laundry
put my clothes away
schedule grooming for dogs

I now must get busy...

groceries away
flip laundry
f/p sheets
chop celery & onion
fry both
start soup
peel & chop sweet potatoes
fry hamburger
sink dishes away
wash dishes
table rescue
start supper, which is not soup!
