Popping in quick...what a Monday. Asher has been a terror today. Wonder if he is coming down with the bug that DD2 is home with? Yikes. DD1 feels like she is getting it too. Phebe is a bit intense too. It's SUPER nice out so we did go to the park today. I just couldn't get out the door for story time this morning. Finally got out the door by 11 and got a few select errand done and headed to the park. Then home for a late lunch and now it's nap time. I'm going to sit in the sun a bit after a little siesta on my bed! Yikes! The weekend was full and good, but I didn't get any planning time for the week ahead. Last night I could have, but the littles were needy and then I wanted to get to bed on time.

Company tomorrow for supper and the night. DH's brother....Eeek. He is not much into kids that aren't perfect, so as you can imagine, I'm a bit on edge about his visit. Thankfully it's a very quick (and rare!!) visit! I can do this.... We've told them there is sickness but that didn't seem to deter him.

Pediatrician said hives for Eden. Maybe from the beetles, maybe something else. Anywho. We went to Target and bought a lot of diapers and a lot of half off kid crafts. No real plans the rest of the day.

YEAH Paula for it not being anything more than a topical rash, even if undetermined reasons.

I've been putting some anti-fungal cream from a previous Rx of Phebe's on my eye "rash" and it's going away. So last night I put some on Phebe's spots and they are much better this morning. Crazy! So maybe not chicken pox after all, but I've never seen ringworm (which is what is was looking like the last few days..) blister like these did. Weird.

Undetermined reasons make me nervous, as do rashes that come and go. But so far she's not bothered, so I guess it's ok.

DH took DD2 in to Urgent Care tonight. So thankful....DD said her ear was hurting. Saves me going in tomorrow with the littles and all. So she does have an ear infection and will get a/b. Whew.

Off to do some yoga and get ready for bed. Days work is done.

Hope she feels better, Rebekah!

Amelia has a tummy bug. She was having some problems and I thought it was from the antibiotic, but she's thrown up twice now, so I don't think it's that.

Ko would throw up from medicine that she couldn't handle, I hope it is only a bug and that the meds will help her at least some.

I'm not so sure the medicine I'm on for my eye ulcer is helping my ear...if the ear doesn't improve by the time the medicine is finished I will return to the doctor.

Good morning y'all.

I slept hard for 9 hours! Must have needed that.

Today I go to eye doc then to babysit A while ddil registers Zack for school.

Made great progress at dsis yesterday. Made my way thru 4 file boxes. Shredded a huge garbage bag of stuff. Tomorrow will be time to try and organize all that's left. A 4 drawers file cabinet that's full. And 4 file boxes that are mostly full. Hoping when dsis goes to its today we will find out that there are more years that we can shred. The family had a business. We have 38 years of paper!!!😱😁. Dsis1 would never get rid of anything!!!!

Busy day ahead and both littles were up early. So no time to sit and surf!!

Company comes for dinner and the night. Off to get baby chicks first thing tomorrow morning. Ok that's all the typing Asher will let me do...he's on the counter now!

Good morning!

I loved reading about your SHE day yesterday, Faye. I honestly think I sometimes get more done when I let SHE take over!!

I'm not processing very well this morning so I'll go to the Chiro later. Then I will need to rest some, so I'm not sure how productive I'm going to be today. I do have lots of images stamped, so maybe I will just sit and color.

Have a good day!

Good morning everyone. I think I slept pretty well last night. Since I don't have to be at work for another hour or so I allowed my body to wake itself up. Sure feels good to do that.

I decided last night that I am going to cut out extra sugar - anything that I add sugar to so mostly my coffee. I've been drinking 2 cups (24 oz cups) each day lately and sometimes more with loads of sugar in them. AND I've been drinking more sodas lately as well which is something that I used to so rarely do. So starting today I'm going to start drinking hot tea or lemon water or plain water.

I hope everyone has a great day today

You appear to be of short stature, do your feet touch the floor when you sit in a chair (or on the toilet even that one's for Diane!)? I have found much relief on my back when sitting if my feet are on a short step (which Don made me!)...it isn't very tall maybe 6" but enough height that it takes pressure off my back...I haul it to church every week because I used to have horrible back pain from sitting the pew or chairs...it also lessened the amount of headaches I have.

Moving right along accomplishing not much on my list...but much off my regular routine of a day is happening!

Finished my walk and I'm glad to say that I could have walked a few more minutes I do think...less pain in my feet right now (am sure the meds I'm on for the eye ulcer has something to do with that so I'm not complaining!)

Going to hoop for a few minutes, been a while since I've done that...

Donna...I'm with you on the added sugar...I am feeling better (again) by not having such items...I've read that Stevia is the best sugar substitute but I react to that so none of that for me knowingly...I do think I've had it at other people's houses in food items but I don't use it by choice.

This is so wise.
I need one for our breakfast table!!! I love the table and chairs. We got them in Amish country. But the seats are shaped saddle like and cut into the back of my legs! I thought about having Dh cut the legs down. But a step would be better.

Most of our furniture is too big for me. My feet don't touch the floor in anything but the barrel chairs in the dining room window. Most furniture that I look at to buy is too big.😏

I actually do have a little stool next to the couch... and two pillows behind my back so I'm close enough to the edge. Today's issues are just old injuries that reignite when stress meets too much work with my shoulder (aka, stitching, stamping, coloring, computer work, doing the dishes, mopping, vacuuming... any or all of those or a multitude of others!) I feel much better now, just really tired from all the adjustments and sort of afraid to move until the adjustment "sets".

I did grace today. First I write the definition. Then I write and read a list of bible verses on the topic. And any quotes that help my understanding. Sometimes others can say things in a way that I better understand. I'm trying to gain a deeper understanding of "growing in Grace". Since grace is a gift of God. Perhaps it's more growing in the knowledge of grace. Not to earn favor but because favor was given to me.

Ko is here with Virginia Grace...she finally fell asleep in the car and she is not moving her! She is sleeping on the guest bed in her car seat. Yes, we have checked on her and Ko is thankful she is sleeping...been some long days for Ko at home lately alone.

Ko is sorting through a few more items in the basement.

I am happily doing nothing but listening to her talk while she sorts! I did cut out 2 dresses, one will be for Virginia Grace.

Now to wash dishes.

Hi all. I had a rough day yesterday. I didn't feel great so decided to take a bath, when I got up from the bath to wash my hair I felt like the room was spinning. So had to take medicine I haven't had to take in a while and pretty much spent the day laying down. It makes me very tired. Then I slept all night and feel much better today. I didn't do much today, kitchen m laundry and mixed and cut out a batch of peanut butter eggs.

We are going to the movies tonight to see Beauty and The Beast.

Cher, here's a poem I wrote about grace a few years ago after studying it myself. The picture I took away from the study was a little cup under a steady flow of water. The cup fills but the water keeps coming and coming and coming and the cup has nothing else to do but overflow. God's grace is like that fountain and I am the cup. His grace is sufficient for my own life - my trials and sufferings, but it doesn't stop there. As we grow in grace it will not only fill us but it can't help but overflow to those around us as well. It is such a humbling, lovely thought, isn't it??

---

Like a fountain overflowing
Comes the grace of God to me,
Filling me with grateful praises,
Fueling liberality.

As His gracious goodness fills me
To the brim, and then some more,
He equips me for tomorrow,
For each day He holds in store.

Competent for every trial,
Grateful and content I'll be.
As I'm filled to overflowing,
All will be of Him, not me.

In myself I'm not sufficient,
Weak and helpless and alone,
But my Father, ever faithful,
Helps the ones who are His own.

His the glory overwhelming,
Mine the joy of trusting Him.
He - sufficient. Me? Content.
Finding all in all in Him.

Fill me then, Lord Jesus, fill me,
May your grace, so pure, so true.
Satiate my weary spirit,
That I overflow with You.

Joyce...bummer on the ickies...how is A healing? Has she been able to go to work?

Baby grand, as I call her, has gone home! She slept for 2 hours, ate and was a happy girl...Ko was glad to see her happy. Ko sorted through things, took some and left some for the second hand store.

Back to my list...Don is on his way home and company will be here about 8ish.

Tricia do you have a book of poems?

That is fabulous.

Also, what is your legal name? Is it Tricia or Patricia?

You are too generous, Faye. No, I don't have a book of them. I just write them when the Spirit moves. And it's Tricia.
