YES! I always travel with at least a few supplies. Creativity may strike at any moment.

I have a wheely suitcase that used to be my carry-on for flights (to give you a size idea). I precariously stack my supplies in there and hope for the best!

Default Crafting vacation

Just completed the annual vacation in Williamsburg VA with my crafting pal! The van holds all we need no matter how it is packed! We do card making and stamping, knitting and shopping, all while discovering the changes to the area since last we visited. She has this giant craft tote from Creative Memories days. I use market totes, crates, and baskets. We coordinate tools ahead of time to avoid duplications.

I took my Fat Max, a large tote bin, a tool bag full of ink, and my turning tool holder to my camper trailer this past weekend. Hubby said it was too much to bring but he was wrong

I do travel with crafty supplies, usually when going to visit family. I actually did a blog post partly on it:

Awesome! We loved the blog post. I'm sure many would love to hear more about how they can travel with their supplies and stay organized!

Thanks for sharing.

Not usually, but since I began subscribing to a monthly kit (Paper Pumpkin), I take those with me when I go on vacation or away for the weekend to my parents' camp. I throw a pair of scissors, bottle of glue, and stamping block in the little red box and I am set!

Always...I show dogs and have little down time. But if I do have down time I have something stampy with me to do.

We travel by car from Canada to Arizona for 3 months in the Winter, which enables me to take more than I could if flying.

I do! I take my travel watercolor palette and water brush with me to pass time while sitting in doctors office, or anyplace where I'll have a long wait.

We just got back from a cabin in the mountains and I really wished I had packed Copics and some stamped images. I was very inspired to color while we were there, but I didn't think I'd have time and didn't take anything along. Lesson learned for another trip.
