A Tribute to Your Retiring Stamp Set

I wanted to have some fun with the retiring stamps before they are gone forever. I am hoping that this is thought of as a CELEBRATION -- a Thank You, if you will, to those wonderful sets that are retiring! I know that as soon as the new sets come out, I'll be too excited to play with my old ones.

Here is my favorite one! (By the way it was totally cased! I wish I could remember from whom I cased it so that I could give credit to them.)

Here is my credit to those sets that are leaving us--it is from FS58. This froggy set has been a favorite of mine, I hate to see it go--but at least I have it!! YEAH!!!

Wow! I had to go back quite a way into my gallery to find a card that uses a retiring stamp set! Finally found this one which uses Blossoms Abound. I have using a lot of stamps from other companies and sets that retired long ago. I am not a demo, so I have every set I ever bought and have no plans on parting with any of them!. Here is my froggy birthday card. Now, I think I will go make another card with a retiring set!

One of my favorites is Beautiful Beach. Here's the most recent card I've made using stamps from that set. Not much stamping, but the scallop shells were the perfect accent.

I love the Infinite Goodness Set that is retiring... :(
However, I was able to earn it with a workshop

This little frog will always be a "keeper" to me! He's so versitile.

I used him recently to make a get well with stitches up his belly just like the recipient:

Fun thread!! The set I had a lot of fun stamping with this past season was She's All That, so here's one of the cards I had made with her:

here's a card I made back in 2007 when I was reasonably new to card making. I used the "in Full Bloom" set that I just love, I still have it.
