Default S2S19D Stash/Trash

This week's challenge is an easy one, unless you are a compulsive cleaning minimalist. I imagine everyone has at least a few panels of technique extras, that maybe did not work as well as expected, but saved anyway, or a half coloured image panel, or anything else that you may someday want to trash. I have a large clamshell container (from fruit or veggie produce) that is full of technique or embossed panels, another full of card bases, another of extra die cuts, and more. This is the year I am going to use up a lot of these. In my sample, I have a negative die cut panel, over an old night time photo, on a card base that had a mark of ink on the front. The die cuts were done on cs in my discard bag. First time for using the dies, even though I have had them a couple of years.
Oh yes, the challenge is to make use of some stash that might otherwise end up in the trash. Extra points if you use a stamp/die cut/embellishment that is more than a year old, but has never been used.

I take photos everywhere, depends on the colour of the card, sometimes even on the tiled floor, !!

Ina thanks for that I have mine almost ready.

I’ve been on a roll this last week, I must have made six cards, I keep seeing these fancy folds and get hooked trying them, I’ve wasted quite a bit of card but it’s been sat there years so I’m not too bothered.
This time of year I start the fire with my off cuts, I save them through the summer so I don’t feel so wasteful, LOL

Ina it’s funny but our two boys especially our eldest was obsessed with cars, took them everywhere, our two GSs in SF were more into Thomas the tank engine stuff, jack the youngest isn’t interested in cars but is mad about animals, he has a massive box full of those plastic ones, he likes the trains too, he now has Joey and Charlie’s collections, but when we ring he always brings the animals to show us.

Ina, great challenge. Being a Cancerian I'm good at hoarding lol. I have 3 bags sitting next to my craft table full of negative die cuts, scraps too small to do a thing with, cardboard, tissue paper....you name it, I have it....just in case I may be able to use it When the poppets come to play we all go through these bags for our art journals and mixed media pages. I know I have lots in there i can use . Yesterday I was going to make a card using scraps so this challenge is perfect. I will be back with something over the next few days.

Thank you. Happy Thursday everyone. Enjoy and keep warm

Lynn, I imagined your Walls with huge cracks in them lol...take it you mean the doorway. Do you sleep with your bedroom door open?

I would move into the living room.....here's some warmth coming your way....whoosh...lol. Keep warm.

Can you pm me your address and birthday pls...I will share mine. Would like to add you to my list for birthday cards.....and others I don't have yet but maybe they don't want to hear from me lol.....if I don't have your address, and you'd like a card ladies, pm me.

Happy day...I'm debating whether to scrap or eat

Can´t believe I have finished my card already, you will laugh as it´s a Thanksgiving card, the first I´ve ever made, especially since we have two American GS´s, anyway the felt pieces matched the stash piece so I had to go with it.

Lynn our villa wasnt built for winter, it keeps cool in summer but as soon as the sun goes in it’s cold, we also close all the bedroom and bathroom doors, then after a couple of hours we get too hot we open our bedroom and bathroom
Luckily it’s been warm this last week so we haven’t been lighting the fire until 6pm and have only used a few logs each night.

I’ve just been watching YouTube, another fancy fold, it struck me quite funny as they sit at their desks just everything there to hand, I just imagined Steve trying to video me dashing from drawer to drawer, discarding this and that, everyone would be worn out watching me, LOL.
She did show a good idea and you might already do this but you know those sheets of round sticky foam pads, she actually uses the left over parts! I must admit I dont usually buy them I buy the rolls but I will be using every bit of the one sheet I have now I’ve seen that.

I agree with you about the videos. I can see myself running up the half flight of stairs to get my big shot, and even then I would have to move other stuff to make room. However, these ladis have dedicated studios, and who knows how many tomes they actually filmed that video. "Ok, now, take 37. This will be the one!"

I always use the leftover dimensionals! You can cut them small or use the border as a long one!

Yes Ina, I suppose it’s the first time I’ve bought any as I use rolls and just cut of pieces.

Yup that is the inside wall. The second bedroom also has the same thing on the inside. They were working on the bricks below the sill plate.. the pieces that the bottom of the window sits on...they hammered out the stuff between the bricks and went too deep

Its only been a few years that I have been waiting for them to fix it. It is a real problem in the cold... Then I forget about it. It means clearing out my stuff and deal with the dust till it is done.

Woohoo I went out of the apartment to check the mail¡ Lol!

Lynn, that looks as though it needs to be fixed and soon. Get onto the apartment/building people. Get grumpy onto it. You can't live with this and be cold. Be careful going out.

One of cafes we go in Play a lot of music in English, old ones and I have to stop myself singing a jiggling about, I’m into my Tamela Motown at the moment so listen while I’m crafting.

Just been trying the card I saw on YouTube, cut it all out but cut it wrong! It still works but opens differently, then cutting the top layer I cut that the wrong way too, luckily I had a whole sheet so I cut it again, I must have spent an hour trying to finish it, still haven’t!
At least it’s all stash.

I have been avoiding it for over a year. Now I won't put YouTube on it cause it wants rights to my whole life so I can see cat videos! Fitbit app is just as bad.

I'm trying to figure out why my newer tablet can't update YouTube. It goes through all tuhe motions but then I get an error message saying it can't update. I've tried all the suggested fixes and it still won't. I hate to think I have to reset this one now too.

I wonder if it is a permissions issue. I had been using a year old version of YouTube. I wouldn't be surprised if it started asking me how much kitty litter I use!

Oh Kathy! Those Physio video guys you like.. Do they have a video for a floating kneecap? My knee cap moves out of place on a regular basis.

I don't know, but they put out a new video nearly every day. So how do I get my eye to quit twitching? Its the lower part under the eye with pvd. I tried magnesium but no change. it twitches on and off every day
