You've always been good at that!

My lss has been buying the bottles that hold twice the amount of glue so the bottle is taller. I like them because they last longer and she only charges $5.40!

Stop it, Lynn, you're killing me! Now I need to decide if I want to make five of those. That would work because the bottle is still the same size around d. Its just taller. Oh, but to male five of those I'd have to fill them with glue dots, tape and dimensionals and that might get expensive. But I could make one and fill it for demo friend because she and I will exchange gifts at Christmas!

Jayne, thanks for the 'love' on my cards, and for favouriting them. I used to favorite cards, but now I just pin them.
Kathy, if your bottles are the same size aroundmthe top, you can tweek the holders to fit them. I think that, seeing as the bottle would be heavier, you might make the base a little wider, so, instead of a 2 by 11 inch strip, use 2 1/2 or 3 inches by 12 inches. I use the backing in the designer paper packs from stampin up. It is heavier than cs. And you could also reinforce the back and bottom.

I am just hearing on the radio, that there were several sexual assaults in Riverside park i Guelph on the weekend. I was there on Saturday for about 4 hours with my grandsons. I noticed this man, sort of keeping an eye on me and thought it was creepy. I don't think he was after me, but after my grandson. It's a big park, and my GS is more comfortable if he can run free (he is on the autism spectrum). I was spending most of my time with his little brother at the play structures and I noticed the man on the edges of the area, watching me. He did not have any kids with him, so I thought it was strange, and I kept a close eye on my GS, even while he was running free. Once, when I had the younger brother in a toddlers swing, I lost sight of Leif for a second and went running to where I could see him and I again noticed that man, closer to Leif. I think we really dodged a bullet there. I am always careful to keep him in my sight, while still giving him freedom.

Maybe you should contact the police. You may have information they could use!

Ina that sounds creepy what happened at the park. I would be checking in with the police as you just never know if it could be the same guy.

Lynn, I do this all the time! Just this morning I used my stitched rectangle dies and made it a bit longer to accommodate the anniversary sentiment. Its the most recent card in my gallery if you want to see it. I learned from YouTube, but can't remember who. Most likely Jennifer McGuire when I was still subbed to her.

Ina that is scarey. I would urge you to call the police and let them know. I'm sure any information they can get will help them.

Lynn, love this idea! Why didn't I think of it? The stitched dies would lock together like she says, but you could really do it with any dies.

My LSS sells them to use with Art Glitter Glue. I usually just use an old coffee mug with a damp paper towel in the bottom.

It was my friends birthday. She liked the lawn fawn shammy but wants to keep it in a SU case so we returned the pink case I had chosen. She got the glue holder and some Nuvo drops. Now once my crap room cools down from over 90f I can get it cleaned up and maybe make something

Default S2S19HH 'Tags'

Good morning everyone. It's Thursday again. How does a week go by so fast? Time for another challenge. While I was making the Tombow glue holders (made 10 so far) I was using a tag topper punch. When I had all those holders lined up for a photo, it got me thinking I should be making some more bookmarks for my friend. I put scripture on one side of them and decorate the other side. She buys cheap mystery books (used), reads them and then leaves them behind somewhere for others to find. She likes leaving a Bible verse, as her way of bringing the good news to others. These bookmarks are basically tags. So, this week's challenge will be to make tags. Getvsome gift tags made for Christmas, or some table tags for Yhanksgiving. Now is a good time, as we are not caught up inmthe Christmas rush yet. Show me your tags this week.A couple of quick samples I made last evening, but I will be making more

Hi girls, just popping in, Ina the tags are lovely, I never think to make my own tags!! Not sure why but I always struggle with them, maybe if I have time tomorrow I might have a go at a couple of Christmas ones. I bought some foiled ones last year from dollar tree, actually they were lovely, I think nine for a dollar and had bells on them, ha,ha,

We are doing a job a day, we had a problem with the floor of the conservatory coming away from the villa, it was build as a separate part, anyway I decided to dig the old grout out and re fill, then we’ve had a problem in the seating area with wasps, they have buried themselves in the wall, don’t ask how but there were tiny holes everywhere, when Steve started digging it all out, no wasps but a shocking great hole so a tiny job took nearly two hours.

I had to jump in the pool to cool off as I was dripping, then I had some ironing to do!

So Lyn. What’s a shammy? Jayne will know that in England a shammy is a leather that we clean windows with

Jan I do know what a shammy is and we have one for doing our car windows here. I think the shammy that they sell for craft are the same but just coloured ones. If only we had known when we were growing up we could have made a motza lol.

Hope the wasps don’t come back. You guys are amazing and keep busy.....I’d jump in the pool afterwards too.

Ina, if you need volunteers for challenges, I have a couple up my sleeve...easy ones.
I’ve added the tag one to my very long list. Love it.

Happy Friday everyone. Enjoy. Got lots to do this end

Thank you Jayne for volunteering to lead another challenge. I was just going to ask for it. Check out post # 4 at the beginning of this thread. I have 2 dates posted for each month, so take your pick. In September Kelly has volunteered for the 26th. Other than that, all the dates are free. These dates were randomly chosen, so if you would like to pick a different date, go ahead.

The last long holiday weekend is about to start here in North America. Where has the summer gone?
A note for rejoicing: my youngest DD has just bought a house. She will be living just 10 minutes from me! They are moving from downtown Toronto, to a small town, so it will be a big adjustment for them. They will be very close to the public school, next door to a small park, and a walking trail. I am so happy for them (and me too)

I’ll take September 19th Ina. If you need another one, I can do October but I’m away in November.

So happy that your DD is going to live closer to you. We need family close as we get older. Enjoy your long weekend.

The next DTGD winners have ben announced. We know some of them...some of us..lol.
Hugs everyone.

That’s great news Ina, wish ours lived closer but even if we were still in England we would be about a four hour drive from our eldest.

Good. Thank you.
I am happy. This morning I drove over, took a walk in the little park that is 3 houses away from them, walked on the trail, to the school that my GS will be attending, and it is only 300 steps to the back of the school property. I am so pleased. The only drawback is that in the daytime they will have noise from the lumberyard/building supply store that is behind their property. Should not be a problem.

Ina, wonderful to know that they will be just down the road from you and you may be able to pick up your DGS from school sometimes.

Happy Saturday and weekend everyone...back to the DTGD galleries I go again LOL

Get well soon Lynn.
I have developed herpes zoster, aka 'shingles'. At first I thought it was a rash from contact with plants in my garden, but a former colleague of mine felt it was shingles and told me to see a doc. It's been 2 weeks and the most extreme itchiness has decreased. I'm not sick and have been coping well. Most of the blisters have dried up. It covers most of my right arm, which is not the traditional ste. The most commen sites are the chest or back, but it can appear anywhere.

Hugs to Lynn, and Ina!

Yes, Kathy, my dr., too, but not covered by Medicare, so would be over $200.00 for each of us. I know it would be more than worth it, but we haven’t done it yet.
