Hmm can it be because you are losing the goop in your eye?

I have dry eyes and do get blobs of gunk. I use a product called tear gel. It is not cheap. I go through about 6 tubes in a month. It adds hydration to your eye without a ton of preservative. I have been using it for over 10 years so it is the most gentle for long term use

I will ask questions when I see the eye doctor on the 13th. If I watch a sad movie and start to cry I get pain in that eye. Right now I'm afraid to use anything. I still have tons if floaters and see strings of light in the dark

OK.. I completely understand. If you need an eye wash to clear the goop

Bausch +Lomb sensitive eyes saline plus solution. You can use distilled water but it may be uncomfortable.

I used to have an eye lubricant but haven't been able to get it for months.. Lacri-lube. When I see my doc I am gonna ask for a replacement.

Do not use visine without asking your doc first

There is systane but my doc thinks there are too many other things in there for long term use.

Hopefully this gives you products to ask your doc about

I have a niece in Minnesota with 4 kids. They went out and did both experiments. Very cool indeed!
Lynn, I’m sorry you are in declining health. With all that you did for your friends, I never would have guessed you were having issues. I forget your major issue, but I’m guessing you are diabetic since you have to check your feet. My BIL just spent a month on IV antibiotics for a recurring foot issue. He had to be in a wheel chair in order to not put any pressure on it at all.
I feel like I haven’t seen your toes in a while. Did I miss it, or is it just too cold?

I used to get this Kathy from time to time and the optician checked my eye and said it was all good and he couldn't see the twitching but hubby could. We worked it out that it happened when I was either stressed or tired...not had it for a while. It is very annoying.

I also had dry eyes at the time and used Systane daily. I now don't have to use it and don't have the twitching so maybe try that as Lynn suggests...anything is worth trying.

Lynne.. I have about 20 issues. The issues with my feet is psoriasis and plantar fasciatis. I only do my toes in the summer. It is not good for my nails to do it long term. Yes psoriasis affects the nails at the nail bed.

The first record I bought was The Beatles, She Loves You and Cilla Black Any one who had a Heart, I still love that record, we always say our song is My Cherie Amour, stevie wonder. At our sons wedding in Poland, they got married on May 29th, our 45th anniversary, Steve just mentioned it to a friend of our DIL, next thing she has my Cherie amour playing and they made us dance in the middle while everyone dance round us, we were totally embarrassed but it was nice of her to want us to have a celebration too,
Steve was Stones fan, he was a rocker, had a leather jacket , motorbike, some of Steve’s mates were Mods, they would all take the mickey out of each other of course, they had their parkas and scooters.

Lynn this is interesting. I had psoriasis on my head years ago and my dermatologist gave me a steroid cream that cleared it up. I also had plantar fasciatis a few years ago...not a bad case and after seeing a podiatrist and wearing a special pad he made for me and taking anti inflammatories for an extensive period, it cleared up. I was worried at the time I would need injections which friends have had who have it.

Where is this leading......I paint my toenails regularly living in a country where 80% of the year I wear open toed shoes. I was having nail issues and had lots of clippings sent for testing...everything came back negative. I tried lots of creams and painting anti fungal fluid on them.....nothing changed. I decided last year to stop painting my nails and let them breathe and see what happened. Finally the nail beds have improved and are starting to look healthy. I will not paint my nails again now until next summer and only during that season. I now am wondering whether it is my psoriasis affecting them. Just think we could all self diagnose...lol.

Love both the Beatles and Cilla....when I started work some of the people in the office used to call me Cilla. They said I sounded like her and also looked like her...not singing...lol. I also have a strong Yorkshire mixed with Derbyshire accent so not sure where that came from lol. Before that I was called Twiggy as I was so thin..lol. Not sure what happened.

I also used to think I was a mod...lol. I used to wear the tartan skirts and Ben Sherman shirts....lol. I used to wear floaty dresses, bright coloured trouser suits, bells and flowers in my hair before that....Oh those were the days. Now I'm just me...

I see the fashions in the shops recently with high waisted wide trousers and skimpy halter neck tops, platform shoes...that was me when I was 19...lol

Jayne I had one of those tartan kilts with the massive pin, thought I was the bees knees, ha,ha, my dad said he’d seen bigger belts than my mini skirts.
Steve’s brother when he first met Jean arranged to go to the cinema, she arrived with bell bottom jeans with bells sewn all down the legs, he said he was so embarrassed as she tinkled all down the aisle, LOL

So I started yet another fancy fold card, after cutting it and trying to fold it, five attempts later! Thank goodness it was all stash and not expensive card, I finally managed it.

I made my marmalade from kumquats, our old tree had so many fruits I would pick them for days and fill bags to give out, many of the men we know from football would take them for their wives who make marmalade, we had to take it out in the end as it got too big, this one is only three years old so not very big,
I have pink grapefruits chopped and soaking to boil up tomorrow, they are ginormous, it only takes three to make a batch, I love using the fruit from the garden, I give more away than we eat but makes me feel it’s not wasted, I give lemons to a friend at football and she brings lemon curd.

Jayne.. Maybe or maybe not. Nails need to breathe so if you always have polish on them it ends up affecting them. Also the nail polish remover is quite harsh. So yes it is recommended that you take breaks. The new thing is lacquer. I worry about sweet pea doing that.

If I am a good girl I can keep the psoriasis at bay but winter is a trigger for a flare. On my hands it flares more often since I am also allergic to nickel.

I am home. Spent 2hours at temp hubby. Finally sent out the notice to her email friends. Sent some certificate to the daughter. They still haven't found the will but that is their issue. Removed more meds and medical supplies. I am in desperate need of a shower!

Here is a card that fit one of our last challenges from 2018.

Wishful Cafe

The challenge was to combine something old with something new. I know it's rather late, but better late than never. Thanks for taking the time to take a peek.

Earlier it was the twins mom. She had surgery and we were talking about wound care.

I am a font of useless information!

I do simple cards, usually clean also...and sometimes I make multiple cards of similar layout...Don photographs each card I make but I don't upload them to the gallery unless they fit a challenge.

In January I had a blast making washi tape cards...like this one https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...0&ppuser=31342

I made 13 similar cards with that stamp set and layout. I got a bug and wanted to use some of my washi tape...I might make some more of those today but at a different angle.

Morning ladies, Monday again, thank goodness we don’t have work!

Our GS who is six told his Mum yesterday that he is now into extreme Mixed Media! LOL
I can see my supplies getting used when he comes over in the summer, he loves crafting, he has an hour at after school care and they can choose to craft, his homework his weekend was mixed media, he made a lovely piece of artwork.

DIL rang to ask if we’d like to have the boys over for a month in summer, of course we said yes, she is taking them to her parents for a week then leaving them there for a week while she goes to a conference in Portugal and Switzerland then we are flying to England for one night meeting in Manchester staying the night in a hotel, DIL will then fly to Heathrow then SF, we will fly back to Spain with he boys for two or maybe three weeks then our son will fly out for two weeks and take them home. Can’t wait, usually our DIL comes over for five days to drop them off but she was laughing that after one month of the year she has already booked four days holiday she hasn’t accrued yet!

Better watch out sis Vicki they are going to Hawaii in a couple of weeks!

Oh nice!!!
All those that are having the freeze overs should all come to Hawaii till the weather gets better !!

Checking in, girls! Clearing the worktable today if it's the ONLY thing I accomplish. Then I can catch up!

At last I’ve finished DIls birthday card, for March!! Another fancy fold! Ha,ha, I’ve also tried the triangle fold card, used scrap papers I’d already started then needed ribbon, wouldn’t you know I have a whole drawer full and it’s a big drawer, not one piece that matched so I dyed some of the TH ribbon, with my brushos, it did go a little brown in the water but it’s dried really well, matches too I think, just got to work out how to fastened it on now.

Made my grapefruit marmalade too, made a mess of stickiness on the floor, yuck, I always do one job and make another.

Just letting it dry so I can upload tomorrow, I feel exhausted LOL, taxed my brain using colours I don’t usually use, not a fan of green although I have a drawer full of green card and papers!

I saw a comment about having twelve glitters, I hate to admit I have about thirty sticklers and well just about every colour glitter, our DIL very often buys me some as a stocking filler from the GSs, I do love glitter but!!! I do love my sticklers though.

I had to giggle, Jan. One year for Christmas, Bob got me about 15 bottles of stickles. He used a long wrapping paper tube and dropped them in. Filled the tube. LOL He does know the way to my heart.

Okay.. all caught up. Challenges in my Miss Maker. Now to find the work table.
Thanks for sharing the cold videos. I totally forgot about doing anything cool. And I've kept a bottle of bubbles on hand just in case. Oh well, winter isn't over yet - though I really hope we don't have another of those cold spells. Brrr!

Kathy looks like you are five hours behind Spain, it’s funny that you have so many time zones because of how big America is, we once went to Portugal it is literally across the river from Spain but they are on the same time zone as England, it totally confused us.
