Ladies, I would like to thank all of you that participated in last week's Musical Challenge - Wildflower. I know it's getting to be nicer outside and people aren't wanting to stay inside. However, I appreciate you staying inside to play this challenge with me. Remember, if you have any ideas on making these challenges better, please pm me. I want to hear your ideas. Or if you would like to request a song to use as our inspiration, you should also pm me.
For this week's challenge; you can win prizes. For every person you bring to the challenge, that posts a card, you and your friend will get a prize. Or if you are a new player, post your card and pm with your address and you too will get a prize. Remember the more the merrier.

For the next couple of week's we are going to hold a contest within our Musical Card Challenge. The contest is to come up with a name for our weekly card winner. I don't like using the word recipient all the time. I would like something unique and fun to call our weekly winner. So, pm me with your suggestions. The winner will get a prize.
Ladies, let's keep in mind that we all love it when we see comments under our cards. So please let's all try to leave love under everyone's creations.

If you are new to the challenge this is how it works. Each Saturday I choose a song. I then ask you to make a card that is inspired by the chosen song. Then post your card here in the forum and we can leave our comments and chat about it. Then next Saturday I will put everyone's name that made a card for this challenge into a drawing. The winner will be the recipient of the cards made for this challenge. Therefore I will ask you to consider sending your card to whomever is the lucky recipient. However, it is NOT mandatory that you send your card out. You may use it for whatever you wish.
Also, please remember in order to have your name put in the drawing you MUST post your card here in the forum before next Saturday.

I just left some love on your two cards you made for this week's song challenge. Two cards??!! That's awesome cricket! I haven't even thought of what I'm going to do yet! I'm off to bed for now......this old brain of mine doesn't think too well with a lack of sleep so I best give it the best chance I can to allow me to operate on some semblance of normalcy tomorrow!!
I hope that there is no strike. Hopefully it will be settled before it comes to that. This would be very bad for our swaps. I can understand the workers viewpoint and sometimes it just has to happen.

I am still out here! I have been spending a lot of time at my Mom's. It was a busy weekend--making flower arrangements and taking them to the cemeteries, taking my mom and aunt to the Farmer's Market and out to lunch, working on some swap cards with a friend and yesterday I helped my mom put her patio funiture outside. I have to go to workout here soon and then to work after lunch. I hope you all have a great day. I want to get my card on here tomorrow morning.

Congrats Cricket on winning! Not sure I will be able to get a card done this week. I tap dance and I have a class, pictures, rehearsals and show this week. I don't think I will get into my craft room until Sunday! Hopefully I can do something! Time will tell!
Canada post is going to have rolling strikes. They are going to start in Winnipeg and be on strike there for 24 hours. I'll let you know more as I hear it.
Hello everyone!!! I am so sorry I haven't been on lately. We had a death in the family and I have been over to my daughter's house trying to help out. My son in law's father passed away. I will have the children for the weekend yet, however, that shouldn't stop me from coming out here this weekend.

Dani-Our Canadian postal workers are on strike. Today in Winnipeg no mail was happening. Tomorrow and the next day in Hamilton no mail will move. Alot of locations are not accpeting mail or parcels because they don't want to store in the event they are the next to strike. So basically no mail in Canada. Based upon the last strike they were legislated back to work after 2 weeks. That means no HAPPY MAIL

Good morning everyone. I should be posting this week's musical challenge this afternoon. I havn't had a chance to make my card yet because dh left out this morning so I had to help him get his stuff together. I am now waiting for the grandchildren to get here. My daughter is going down by her dh for the funeral. Is it weird that they are having it on a Sunday? Oh well..I will get to work on this asap.
