Here are some prompts for our June 2022 MMJ.Keyword is MMJ622. I based them on some personal ideas of my own. Choose at least two from the list:
My name is Jean....feature some denim or blue jean type material.
One of my nicknames has always been Jean Bean (or Jeannie Beanie)....feature a vegetable.
JBDQ stands for Jean Bean the Dancing Queen....feature something to do with dance and/or music.
Feature something to do with royalty (like a queen?)
I like to use quotations by famous or unfamous people (unfamous because I don't know who they are)....feature a quotation on your creation.
My favorite color is any shade or hue of green...feature two of them!
Technique: I like embossing folders so use one in some way on your project. If possible, use some ink or other medium to highlight the raised parts.

Hello everyone, I'm in charge of the October MMJ2022. Keyword will be MMJ1022. I'm probably heading out of town on Friday so wanted to post early so I don't forget. Here are your prompts:
an image of a building or architectural element
tissue paper, parchment paper or a coffee filter
a recycled greeting card, not homemade (think Hallmark or American Greetings or the like)
the color gray
some kind of drippage (think watercolor or acrylic paint or the like)
a natural element from outside (wood, bark, stone, metal, NOT something that you'd buy in a store)
The technique: use a common household item to add a medium. Here is a video for some ideas:

Hi everyone, I thought I’d post another challenge for this month. I’ve been watching a lot of online art classes the past 2 weeks and a lot include mark making. Unfortunately I can’t into my play room just yet and my Nurse isn’t playing the game and bringing me some art supplies downstairs to use…he’s tough lol, but I thought I would share this simple mark making video with you all,
Get out your scrap paper, CS or art journals and just play and make your mark or doodles. Whatever you create can be used on a card as a BG or cut up to use on projects. Enjoy. Happy messy creating and happy Friday.

Monthly: MMJ Challenge….get inky and have fun
Hi everyone, it’s the first of the month which means a new challenge.
I thought we would have a change this month. This month I challenge you all to make a MM collage card (or ATC or panel). The twist is that it must incorporate all of the following:
Paper scraps (collage)
3 different coloured paints (if you don’t have paints, use inks)
An image fussy cut or die cut
Stencil
Bling
Paint/Posca pens or any kind of pen
Gesso (if you don’t have, white paint will do)
I thought it would be good to go back to basics making a BG and using collage.
There’s lots of inspiration on Pinterest and FB, etc, but my advice (after watching about 50 videos recently 🙄) is to slap that paint down and go from there. Let’s do some intuitive creating.
Hello everyone, I'm in charge of the December 2022 MMJ challenge. There will only be three prompts, which are more objects or ideas than anything. Please use all three.
1) use at least one candy wrapper, any wrapper will do. Extra points if you use more than one.
2) include some memory from your childhood
3) use a piece of recycled giftwrap or if you don't have anything old, use a new piece. Doesn't have to be Christmas, anything is great.
The rest is up to you as far as techniques, mediums, etc. Have fun!
