USEIT2019 Challenge Group
Happy New Year!! I hope you will join me again this year pulling out and giving love to those "forgotten" stamps, dies, embellishments and paper!

We love seeing what you create with your unused paper crafting supplies, so please add the keyword USEIT2019 to your gallery post, and if you have time, link here in this forum as well so we can admire your artwork...

Thanks for joining in with us and we are looking forward to seeing your artwork in 2019- hugs!!

Scraperwannabe 12-31-2018 10:31 PM

Thanks Julie for doing this again! Happy New Year!!

smadson 01-01-2019 07:31 AM

Thank you! Happy New Year!

CatNip_Ninja 01-01-2019 01:29 PM

I love this idea but have a question...
Is there a specific area where a new challenge is posted on the supplies we are to use? Just curious.

Hi Christy! This challenge is for you to use whatever supplies you have on hand that have not been used in a while (for ex: stamps that have not seen ink in a year or longer, paper that is in your stash for years, dies that you have not used in a while, etc.) or even brand new items that you may have bought and never used yet.

We do not post a specific challenge each month per se, but when you are using older stamps, dies, paper or even new (never before used) stuff, add the keyword USEIT2019 when you load your card or project to the gallery (and also post a link to this forum, if you can). This will allow us to see your creation and leave some "love".

We are thrilled that you found us and look forward to seeing your creations!

Hugs and Happy New Year!

CatNip_Ninja 01-01-2019 03:14 PM

Thank you...I have plenty of things to use! I look forward to joining in and using my "lost" stamps and other items lol

smadson 01-01-2019 03:25 PM

Here is my first card of the year!

Scraperwannabe 01-01-2019 08:56 PM

My first card of the year: https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...6813?nocache=1

Shoe Girl 01-05-2019 03:10 AM

Used up a sentiment and a couple of flowers for this quick card today. Trying to use stuff that is already stamped and cut sitting on my desk again this year. I had hoped to finish that goal last year but alas the pile was larger than I anticipated so that is my goad again this year to use more of it up.

Scraperwannabe 01-06-2019 03:28 PM

Inking up this set for the first time:

lovinpaper 01-07-2019 09:41 AM

I think this will be a well used challenge this year. Here are a couple of photos showing a pet sympathy card. Two of these stamp sets haven't seen ink before and have been in my collection for several months or even a year.

jan31 01-08-2019 03:21 AM

Julie, Great to see this challenge again this year, I'm determined this year to use stash and not buy any new stamps until I've used the ones I have, that also goes for card and bling, so my first for this year.

swldebbie 01-09-2019 07:11 PM

So happy you are doing this again this year, Julie. It really did help me use some of my NBUS and Vintage stamps last year.

swldebbie 01-09-2019 07:14 PM

Pulled out this vintage heart boxer shorts image from Red Hot Rubber - haven't used it in so many years I wasn't sure if I still had it. Made for a fun CAS card for my sweetie.

smadson 01-09-2019 07:29 PM

I don't know when I have posted a card! It seems a while! But here is one for about three challenges using an old set: Natural Beauty.

Scraperwannabe 01-09-2019 10:01 PM

I used this one almost 2 years ago!!

Scraperwannabe 01-10-2019 01:37 PM

Inking another one up:

Scraperwannabe 01-11-2019 12:59 PM

I haven’t used this one since last April.

Scraperwannabe 01-11-2019 04:11 PM

First time this one is seeing ink:

Shoe Girl 01-13-2019 05:19 AM

Used some punched hearts, flowers and labels from my stack of stuff to use this year for some quick sympathy cards today.

Ozpom 01-13-2019 07:03 PM

Happy new year everyone. Julie, sorry I haven't been on the thread for a while. I have been using my stash when I've been creating. How is your husband going? Hope all ok.

Happy creating everyone.

Scraperwannabe 01-14-2019 01:56 AM

Inking up this one for the first time... also my first from Studio Katia:

Shoe Girl 01-14-2019 04:33 AM

Used a couple of ring box stickers, a couple die cut circle layers, some twine flowers and large corner gems for a couple of quick cards today.

smadson 01-14-2019 01:10 PM

Here is a card using ignored stash!

I bought this background stamp during a sale & then didn’t use it.

Scraperwannabe 01-16-2019 09:31 PM

Here's another one....

Covington Crafter 01-16-2019 10:57 PM

Finally using the candelabra die, had it for a year! I'm also using pre stamped/colored/embossed images and backgrounds from my stash. Here's my card Here's to Old and Dear Friends.

Scraperwannabe 01-18-2019 05:18 PM

Here's another one:

Scraperwannabe 01-21-2019 07:08 AM

I made 2 purple cards yesterday:

FayeMakesCards 01-21-2019 07:38 AM

Want to add this to my keywords in 2019...I'm using my stash following another thread, having fun.

raduse 01-21-2019 07:06 PM

Just saw this. Trying to use some of my never, or rarely, used stuff up in 2019. Still has to be approved, but here's my first: https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...00&ppuser=2910

All details are also on my blog: https://stampinginthelight.blogspot....ey-friend.html

Chatterbox-1 01-22-2019 04:27 AM

Happy New Year Julie...so glad you our hosting us again this year! Hope this finds you and your husband having some good days health wise...you are both in my prayers.

My daughter's baby girl shower card boasts mostly old stuff, including the patterned dsp, seam binding ribbon, the eyelet oval die, the pennant swag die, and the word sentiment die. Most of these items are at least two years old, but some even older.

Here is is my card: Showering Sienna's Coming!

Julie Gearinger 01-23-2019 04:16 PM

Wow, so thrilled to see so many cards using your stash- great job, ladies!! Sorry to be away for so long- my hubby is doing as well as possible (thanks for all of the prayers and inquiries). He had another tumor in his bladder that was removed last week and will be undergoing chemo again for a few weeks (we will know more this Friday).

In the meantime I created a card for The Card Concept (and a few other online/SCS challenges) using a long, ago retired SU! butterfly image that was embossed and colored in my stash as well as a digi sentiment from Power Poppy (that was already printed and die cut in my stash). It helps to finally have a chance to combine and organize all of my "stuff"- lol!!

Hugs to all of you and thanks again, for the prayers and inspiration!

Covington Crafter 01-23-2019 11:19 PM

Hugs to you Julie. Praying for your hubby and you!

Here's another card, Life is a Beautiful Ride. Finally inking up the silhouette stamp and using a couple more pieces from my bg stash. My goal is to use at least one item from my stash for each card I create!

lovinpaper 01-24-2019 02:18 PM

I am using these dies for the first time as well as the patterned paper. I have a ton of patterned paper, so one of my goals is to use it. I also plan to use my dies rather than adding to my collection.

jan31 01-25-2019 04:30 AM

I made this card completely with stash which is quite pleasing.

jan31 01-25-2019 04:32 AM

Julie, so sorry to hear about your husband, hope things go well today for him.

Scraperwannabe 01-25-2019 11:06 AM

I’m hoping the rest of the year will be as successful as January!

Scraperwannabe 01-25-2019 09:02 PM

Got another one made tonight...

Shoe Girl 01-27-2019 02:54 AM

Used a huge stack of cityscapes from my desk and made these cards:

stampin'nana 01-27-2019 09:59 AM

I just checked out this sight after seeing it used on another stamper's card. Here is a card I am adding: https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...9756?nocache=1

Scraperwannabe 01-27-2019 09:54 PM

Here's another one:

jan31 01-28-2019 04:05 AM

My card using all stash, I made it for the challenge on S2S to use the colours of Australia, green and gold but seeing it was made completely with stash it fits this challenge too.

raduse 01-28-2019 08:13 PM

It still needs to be approved, but here's another card from me. I dusted off my big shot and embossing folders plus used a stamp I had received as a RAK. https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...00&ppuser=2910

raduse 01-28-2019 09:27 PM

Here's another card using some of my dusty sets. Still needs to be approved. https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...00&ppuser=2910

Covington Crafter 01-29-2019 08:59 PM

I've got a few to add. I have a sizeable stash of pre stamped and pre stamped/colored images. Trying to use them up.

MMTPT549 Here's to Friends We Make Along the Way pre-stamped/colored image, die cut sentiment, paper scraps

MMTPT548 Not Up to Par? pre-stamped image, paper scraps

MMTPT548 Hugs for Cheryl pre-stamped/colored image, flourishes, seam binding, flowers, pp and a die cut mat

Covington Crafter 01-31-2019 08:01 AM

Here's another one, WT725 Pitch of Daisies. Finally using the Concord & 9th border dies, polka dot pp, floral brad, ribbon from my stash.

FayeMakesCards 02-01-2019 04:44 AM

scraps & old ribbon

https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...0&ppuser=31342 old ribbon, GKD paper of old, Spellbinders die

https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...0&ppuser=31342 scraps from stamp table

Shoe Girl 02-01-2019 05:22 AM

I totally had to play in the F4A challenge today because it was perfect for using some more items off my table. Used the last of the lace flowers sent to me over 4 years ago from Jan (Precious Kitty) and a vintage image that I just could not throw away because I thought it was perfect for a card for my sister.
