This card uses an Eiffel Tower die cut that I am not sure if I ever used on a card yet along with neglected Washi Tape and the soon to be retired Gorgeous Grunge (so sad to see this set go...)
Not a lot of activity here lately. Here is a scrap lay out using my new TH letter dies, and a lot of paper stash. Christmas Tree Portraits
I have decided my style is simple. I worked two days on doing mixed media pages for this LO, and was unhappy with it. Just went simple. Thanks for looking.
Sharon, simple is wonderful! I like to play around with all types of styles but do find that CAS cards are a bit quicker to make (if I can decide on the design- for me, that takes longer since I tend to think in a vintage/shabby mixed media style- lol!)...
Here is a card with current AO stamp sets but I was able to use retired Hemp Twine along with a button and wanted to stop by to say hi!!
Hi Everyone! This card uses the long ago retired Tool Shed background stamp from SU! along with a current ODBD Verse sentiment. I even pulled out the neglected Crop-A-Dile and some eyelets that I have never used :-) Love using my stash!!
Hi Everyone! Finally I have been able to create a Christmas card (I am so far behind)! I used a neglected stamp set from Inkadinkadoo as well as Power Poppy and even pulled out my long neglected glitter :-)
Thanks again for all of your encouragement- it is satisfying when you can use up some of what you already have, isn't it? Hugs and I hope you have a wonderful week!
I used the EF for first time. And I used the shell die cuts for first time in a long time.
I love this image. I can't remember if I have used that lately.
Hi Everyone! I have been busy cleaning and consolidating my craft storage area and found a few scraps that I used to create this card. I know the die cut is several years old and some of the washi tape, I have not used in years as well :-)
My plan was to sit down with this stamp set and have fun playing with it, for no reason reason. The reality so far is that I made a card in place of a belated birthday card.
I just finished converting my stamp inventory to Evernote, and purging a bunch of things I no longer wanted. I finally have time to clean my (now emptier) space and then get back to making cards just for the fun of it. I'll do more with this set before moving on to my next USEIT self-challenge.

No blog for me. My gallery chronicles my card-making successes and mishaps.
Sue, congratulations on purging and setting up your inventory in Evernote! I am working on organizing my craft storage area (almost 20 years as a SU! demo and never sold any stamps, paper, etc.) so I fully understand what you have been going through, my friend!
I was able to consolidate quite a bit of "stuff" (as my hubby calls it) and remove several cart style drawer units so I have a bit more space to move around as well but it is still a full room. When I am in organizing mode, it is hard to stop to make a card so I am glad that you were able to share your cute card with us!!
Sharon, love all of your scrapbook pages- you truly are an inspiration! I discovered that I have approx. 30 or so scrapbooks "in stock" (quite a few are the same ones since I thought I would have classes that have never come to be yet :-)).
I am hoping to start scrapbooking one day soon (as well as Bible Art Journaling)- we need a 36 hour day in order to do all that we hope to do, don't we?
Thanks again for inspiring us- hugs and I hope you have a blessed week!
Misti- thanks for sharing all of your fun cards with us as well! Love seeing all of the uninked images and you have amazing coloring skills :-)
I will be traveling to visit my Dad and brother in Tennessee later this week and will not be near a computer from Thursday through Sunday. Just wanted to let all of you know - will be thinking of you and look forward to seeing your creations when I return.
Hugs to all of you, sweet friends!
Hi Everyone! This card uses a brand new stamp set (due to be released in July by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps) along with retired SU! Mocha Morning (love this paper) and Going Places DSP - I have not used either in ages :-)
This card uses a very old SU! set- Beary Merry Christmas (dated 2000) - we do not even have a gallery for this set and I have not inked it up in quite a while.
Audrie's Inspiration challenge inspired me to use a Recollections pad of patterned paper.
180 pages, and I guess I am hoarding it! LOL Here is Pattern Birthday Steve
Hi Everyone! This card uses the retired SU! Square Lattice EF along with cording and other items that I have not used in quite a while :-) Hugs to all of you!
Here is another card using a digital image from Power Poppy that I have never used before (I print them out and then color, die cut, etc. with regular card making techniques :-))
This card uses God Bless America (an a la carte stamp from 2001) that I have not inked up in years (at least seven years since it is not in my gallery which I started in 2010)...
Here is a card using a digital SU! image along with a freebie card image (I printed the card image out and watercolored with pencils). I also used a very neglected EF..
