Love that card, Julie! I have to try that Joseph's coat technique!
Thanks Sharon! It is very easy (and fun) plus I have another one with the same technique using Sweet Floral that I will be sharing later this eve/early morning :-)
Another card using an extremely old and neglected stamp from More Great Greetings (1993 is on the stamp but I know SU! carried for many years since I started in 1999 and it was still current :-))
Ok, I hope you are not getting tired of me :-) I had a productive weekend stamping with older stamps- this one uses a stamp from Crafty Individuals (Fresh Fish Daily CI-412- that I bought on clearance at 75% off over a year ago) along with two current Our Daily Bread Design sets that I have on hand- Fish Net Background (never seen ink yet) and The Waves on the Sea :-)
This card was made in honor of my FIL who passed away in 1999- he loved fly fishing and we truly miss him- hugs, sweet friends!
Ok, here is my final card for this past weekend....I used the ODBD Chalkboard Vine Background along with a retired ODBD set, Serve the Lord (the poppy image is still available as a single clear photopolymer/clear stamp)...I have not stamped the background stamp or the sentiment from the retired set for years
Oh, I also wanted to let you know about a new challenge site I discovered, Retro Rubber Challenge Blog (Retro rubber challenge blog - you have to use older stamps that are at least one year old) :-)
I thought I would let you know since some of you have blogs and may wish to participate...it lends itself to this challenge theme as well :-)
This card started off just as an experiment using Picture Perfect and Distress Markers for watercolor (I had not stamped with this set at all since I have owned it for months)
Took a short hiatus but am back with this card I made today using the SU kit Hooray it's your Day that I bought a couple of years ago and never opened. Really like this stencil. Added some old Tim Holtz tissue tape from my stash that is at least 3 years old
I made these 3 quick flat shaker cards this AM. The sentiment stamp from MFT had never seen ink. I also had some clear card jackets that I have had for years so decided to use them as the clear window.
Hi Everyone!! What fabulous cards you have been creating- thanks for linking and sharing!!
I have been busy with my Design Team work lately and even though this card uses newer stamps from Artistic Outpost, the background paper from Our Daily Bread Designs has not been touched in over a year :-) Plus, I wanted to drop in and say "hello" :-)
Here is another patriotic card in honor of the 4th of July :-) I used the flag image from Hero (I had not inked that stamp yet from this Artistic Outpost set) ...
Hi Again!! I created a card for the new SUO152 "Delight in Nature" Challenge using the current SU! set, The Wilderness Awaits. I love the images in this set but I have not inked them in quite a while plus I have not used the embossing folder in months (and I used a retired button with twine) :-))
I am the Guest Designer for Challenge #42 at Retro Rubber Challenge Blog- use brads or eyelits so I decided to create another masculine card using Noble Deer (2004) and Sincere Salutations (2005) along with DSP from 2007 (I know I have not inked up these sets in quite a while) :-) RRCB42_SC36 Thinking of You by Julie Gearinger - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Misti- both cards look great and thanks for letting us know about The Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge (I wanted to play along last year but could not) :-)

Hugs and have a great week!
I didn't do so well the last time around. I'm going to be gone for an archery tournament next week, but I'm hoping to take some images & copics with me.
I am using a brand new Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps set, Truth Quotes 1 on this card along with Autumn Mum Greetings (I have owned the Autumn Mum Greetings set for years and have not inked it up in over a year now)...
Another card I created this week - I used current stamps but I finally used my first piece of Very Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware (I have several sets of this hardware...)
