So I have the blues. I am creating a project for myself to help get me out of it.
I am going to go through my son's new scrapbook. I am going to order curb side delivery so I can print photos. I had a long talk with my son about his book and he doesn't want previous girlfriends in it. So I will redo some of the pages.
Lynn you made me smile about grumpy not wanting ex girlfriends in his pages, rightly so but we’ve had to do that with our eldest son, we have to be remember not to mention anything Either, I used to forget as one ex girlfriend and her Mum used to go aerobics with me so I was good friendS with her and her Mum.
My dad had to go through all his Cine 8 home movies to splice out my sisters ex boyfriend as he had been on holiday with them! He spent weeks going through every one.
I’ve been going through all my old craft magazines as I save them for my friend in England and when she comes over on holiday I send her home with any free papers with girl themes, she has two DGDs, not sure if I will see her this year as she was coming over next month, anyway while going through them I saw an ad for a ribbon holder box, retailing at £49:95, a bit steep I thought, got me thinking so I’ve found the bottom half of a cardboard box, covered it with paper and am now making holes along the front to put the ribbon through, this will make you smile as I already started on another box but it wouldn’t make a smooth hole so I asked Steve if he could tell me how to make smooth holes, he decided to come up to my craft room, he very rarely goes up there because of the stairs, anyway I had the drawer open and it is absolutely full of ribbons! He was actually speechless, ha,ha,
In my defence a lot of the bits and bobs are from pressies, it’s a great source of amusement when they give me gifts as they all put ribbon on as they know I will keep it and I open it carefully not to spoil the ribbon or the paper, LOL and the family all save any stray ribbon for me! I actually have to look the other way now when I’m in Michaels and Joanns so I don’t see any that I like!
I will show you when I’ve finished it as you might all need ribbon storage if you are de cluttering during the lockdown, I was so engrossed I did t realise how the time had flown!!
well my hair used to go down to my waist and I always wore it in braids. So yeah I was teased about that. I was also quite a tom-boy! Yup my son learned to climb trees from me.
oh oh I just had a thought. give me a minute!
my long peach polka dot nightie and my striped tigger socks!

Today, I am wearing my orange socks with white polka dots and turquoise ribbing. I just walked out to my neighbour's place to cleanse the pin site on her thumb. Walked there in the sunshine, and her husband drove me home because it was pouring rain, all in 10 minutes time. Now, the sun is shining again, but the thunder is still rumbling.

Grumpy and sweet pea will take their car through for soft ice cream. Then I will in my car. There is a park down the road. We will park and eat the ice cream in our own cars while yelling through the windows! Wish me luck!
Sorry for that Jan, but it's a small price to pay for peoples' lives.
I know that some people will find it harder than others, especially the extrovetts and social people. Introverts like me are happier to stay home. My friend Carl is happy as a clam, painting canvas after canvas.
However, not everyone lives in the country, with a big back yard like is my case. Tough for people like Lynn, who lives in a high rise apartment in the city.

Also remember I have been stuck inside since Jan 18. When my son dropped off food I didn't even see him! So yes I needed to get out for my sanity. The closest was a few meters apart and in our cars. So we were safe.
My only outdoor space is the balcony but the wind is still too cold. I don't want to walk around the building since there are so many kids. I am not going to any store. I am only getting groceries from online. Any medications my son picks up. He drops them in the entrance and leaves. Then I will put gloves on and sanitize. Only eating frozen fruits, meats and veg.
Sorry that sounds like a harsh answer. I don't mean it that way. My tone is from the frustration
I am quite worried about the strain on my son. He is doing supplies for both our places. He is also out there every day. uugghh

I feel so bad for those of you that have to be locked away in your homes. I feel so blessed to live in an area where I'm able to be outside and get fresh air, which helps ease the frustration caused by social distancing. I am an extrovert, so I do miss my volunteer group, playing Mahjong and teaching art.
Today, I did some video messaging over Messenger with 4 friends from Wisconsin. It was fun to talk and show each other what crafts we were working on. They were suppose to be at a craft retreat this week, so they decided we'd craft together over Messenger. At one point, we decided to put on heavy makeup, bright lipstick and eye shadow, and style our hair. Our husbands thought we were a bunch of nuts! Such fun, like being a teenager again!

Ina I’m happy to stay in apart from missing our morning walk, I think it’s the best thing to do as it’s still escalating over here even with the lockdown, there’s thousands of people been fined for going out, why would you risk it,
I really don’t think our lock down will end on April 12th and if I’m honest I’d be a bit wary of going out straight away even if it does!

Sorry Lynn I didn’t mean in the way you took it as I know you are on your own and must crave company, it’s not good for peoples well being being alone all this time and I’m lucky to have Steve,.
So I sad I had the blues. I called a friend and she made it three times worse. Then I posted here. Now I think I need to take it easy for a bit after hearing the news. The latest news is that they are prepping the armed forces. I am going to book a phone call with my doc to talk about a change in my antidepressants. I want to stay ahead of this.

Big huge hugs all around!
Sorry to hear that you are so down! It is a very hard time. I limit the time I spend listening to or reading the news. It can be very devastating.
Sending hugs and positive vibes to you!

Today is starting off as a good day and I intend it to stay that way. The past 2.5 days haven’t been that great and I have slept a lot of it..if it were an Olympic sport..sleeping, I would win it for Oz.....so DH tells me.
It was his birthday Sunday and after VSN I woke with shocking sinusitis and headache. I put it down to staying up so late for VSN but nope...it just got worse and by late Sunday arvo I was a mess. With headaches and not being able to breathe properly and talking as though I had something stuffed in my mouth, I have had no desire to do chores, chat with DH or anyone. All I have done is lie on my back and sleep. DH put me on some other meds I keep for my sinus issues and boy they zonk me out.
Poor him..on his birthday things didn’t quite go to plan and I’ve been like a bear with a sore head. Oh wait.I have had a very sore head..one that felt as though it were being held in a vice....lol. We even had takeaway one night as I didn’t have the energy to cook.
I’m so glad that today the fog has lifted..first day in 3 without a headache..yay. I can now breathe through my nose..another yay. We are trying to work out what triggered me off...something in my craft room or milk in my coffee. DH took me off milk and by this morning I was ready to kill...he relented and gave me coffee lol.
Today is going to be Monday chores on Wednesday and I hope to get back into my craft room to pick up where I left off. I’ve also got a jigsaw puzzle to continue that I started last weekend. It seems a lifetime ago.
A friend sent me a message saying that our bottle shops had now closed.....my face was hilarious..big drop of my chin lol. It was an April Fool joke...lol
Have fun. I’m going to pick up where I left off on Sunday arvo. Gracie I looked through your cards last night and some beautiful ones. You are motivating me to craft again..thank you.
Sending hugs to you all

So glad you feel better Jayne! Sinusitis is absolutely miserable! Hope you get some fun time in your craft room!
I still have 4 cards left to make to do all the VSN cards! Hoping to finish tomorrow! I've really loved all the challenges. Now, I have lots of cards to send out. I've been sending to my mom who is 88 and she loves them! Something to brighten these long days.
Heading to bed shortly, long day with our sick puppy...we took her to the Vet. Had to wait in the parking lot and they came out and took her into the clinic. She had a fever and has an infection behind her eye. We thought she had a sore tooth as she quit eating. She's on antibiotics and pain pills...but it is such a struggle to get them down her throat. We've tried cheese, peanut butter and chicken pill wraps. She just clamps her mouth shut and won't eat it. Stubborn girl.

Thanks Gracie. Your cards are beautiful. I saw them on IG too and left love..not my usual name lol. You will know which one I am.
Your mum will love the cards you send. I am trying to make lots of birthday ones so I can mail them out this week or next. I read today that the virus is unlikely to live on packages and mail..phew. I’m happy about that as I ordered some more play stuff earlier..I’m so bad. Some scribble sticks.
I hope Sadie is improving.
Jan, we also get fined if we leave our area/region....$50000..eek. We aren’t in lockdown but only can now walk in 2s and only go out for essentials, work or health appointments. I also like being at home but at least we can still walk daily. Not that I have for a few days. My head still feels as though it’s in a fog.
I’m having a cuppa and choccie. I’ve given up on the diet. I will worry about it when this crazy time is over.
I went to shop for essentials earlier..it was not a good experience. I came back a nervous wreck. I need comfort right now, hence the choccie.

Jayne I’m pleased to hear you are feeling better, good job Steve had his temperature taken at the doctors when he had his bloods yesterday or I would have thought he was ill, first time ever no April fools jokes! Mind you isn’t only 9am so there’s still time.
Lovely photos Gracie, sorry to hear she’s not well, it’s such a worry as they ant tell you what’s wrong and they are such a big part of the family, funny they always manage to get the comfiest seat in the house!
Jan I couldn’t be bothered with April fool either today although a friend did catch me out lol. She told me our bottle shops were closing...eek...lol.
Have a good day whatever your plans...lounge, kitchen, garden, craft room, bedroom....I never seem to get my steps in these days unless we go for a walk and I haven’t walked much the past few days. I did do a jigsaw puzzle for a little while and just made two quick cards.
Our cable service provider has just sent us an email saying we are being given the free movie channel until June. Now that’s a win if they have decent movies on. We used to have movies and never watched any lol. I guess they want to keep us when this is all over.
Tomorrow is another day. Keep safe and well

Ha,ha,Jayne I would loved to have seen your face, I presume you mean the offy!
Steve’s meds were free this month, then I found out that he has to pay 1% which is only €8 per month but it’s done over a year and he has reached the limit this year.
Steve just scared me 834 people have died in the last 24 hours in Spain, we found out that a lot of deaths in Murcia where we live was from people in residential homes, so sad, I’m trying not read too much
Morning..cat tried a new trick on me.. Shake her head so I get cat drool all over my face!! Eeeww! Yup I had to hit the showers!
No April fools here either. The city has closed all events till June and that sent me in a tail spin. My grocery delivery has no openings till April 20!
OK enough about that! I need to put on my big girl pants and get on with it! I am going to tackle cleaning my entryway today. I will open the windows so the dust doesn't get to me.
