Mix It Up Challenge!
 

I love playing along with challenges! I have made so many lovely friends here on Split Coast and I thought it would be fun to gather a bunch of my friends on here and start up a new challenge thread! So here's what the cracked up bunch have cooked up....

We are calling these challenges.... Mix It Up!

We will be posting 1 challenge per week on Sunday's, there are no winners or losers! There will be a number of different hostess' and they will let us know when they want to take a turn hosting :)

All you really need to know is..... RANDOM IS HOW WE ROLL!!! Each hostess will put their own spin on the challenges so it's just going to be a surprise every week!!! How fun is that?????

The Keywords for this challenge will be MIU so if you upload to the gallery it would be so great if you use this so we can pop in and see what you have created. Also please Please post your creations to this thread so everyone that is chatting away (which is what we usually are doing) can see what you made!!

I will warn you! We are a chatty bunch!! So pull up a chair and get comfortable.... pop by and say Hi! We would love to have you join us!!

your gift bag is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. ;) I have never made one, are the videos or tutirials that would help me with these challanges if i tries, lol. I would love to try new things and get ot of my little box, teehee.:rolleyes:

Hi Rosie!!! Thanks for joining us!!!! I didn't use a template I just started punching and folding card stock until I had what resembled a gift bag.... there are ton's of ways you can do this... check these out...

There are so many ways you can do this the possibilities are endless! I have even seen them made with a paper lunch bag! You can do what ever you feel like! You could even make a box if you wanted to :) I have made three bags and I will be posting them throughout the day.... After doing these, it's doubtful that I will ever actually BUY a bag again.... this was so fun and easy!! :) I CANT wait to see what you come up with!!! :)

I found this cute little totebag tutorial right here on SCS. Check out Leigh O'Brien Totally Totebag. She did an awesome job. I love this as a gift card holder or a small gift for Valentines day.

DONNA!!!!! How Adorable is THAT!!!!!!! Wow you got that done so quick!!! It is totally crazy cute!!!! LOVE LOVE IT! Your's is much more complicated than mine are!! Wow.... So sorry about that Donna.... When I read what you posted I thought you were posting a tutorial that you found, not your actual gift bag that you made! LOL!!! You totally blew me away with that one! LOL!!! It is so totally lovely!!!

Well, you gave a couple hints yesterday about what this challenge would be about sooooo. I found the tut a while back and wanted to make one anyway so I thought maybe it would fit here and it did. Yipeee!
