I have a wedding to attend to on Saturday afternoon/evening and really looking forward to celebrate the new couple...
I also still have my GDaughters here w/ me until Saturday late morning so that keeps me very busy...we were originally going to go camping one last time before my return to work on Tuesday (DON'T WANT TO GOOOOO...HAD SUCH A GREATTTTT SUMMER THIS YEAR!!) but the weather has been quite unstable w/ humid days and yet torrential downpours too...crazyyyyy weather...
I better get cracking now as I still have to do s'mthing 'blue' for the bride to be and create a vintage wedding card too......
It's now actually 11:30 pm....mmm....perhaps I should consider going to bed instead!!
DS was in the ER last night. He's okay. I think it is stress related. His EKG was good and so was all his bloodwork. If he begins to improve I'll know it was stress and that just going to the ER to find out he's ok is helping him to get better.
DH's buddie passed away this morning. So he's very sad.
Glad you got your question answered Sharon. Lynn is vacationing with the pool boy and I've been away. DH's buddy passed away last night and we went up to his house to visit with family and friends...

Lot's going on with you and your family Kathy...sorry to hear about your husbands friend. This is always so hard.
Hope your son is feeling better, stress can really hit hard at times.
I have to get my niece's wedding card finished tonight. I rarely make wedding cards and I haven't a clue where to start. Glad the MoJo is back at least HeHeHe...

(((HUGS))) to yuor DH!! I know he's frustrated right now!!
One thing I learned in a college class I took, Stress Management, they tell you to have a hobby that will take your mind off of things that are frustrating or stress-causing to you. That's one reason I read a lot, make cards, and do so many crafts - to aleviate stress.

I am here for a short while only. alas no ice cream as yet....the "adult" pool has no pool boy...but I am getting the warm swimming pool and HOT TUB to myself at night. After 9pm they light candles...I do my stretches in the warm water and do NOT want to come out. OK...I need a quick nap and then I must be off again.
Kathy-It is rough to lose a friend so sympathy to your hubby.. and hope your DS is doing better as well.. Take care
Family has been here all week and will be leaving tomorrow so that is really sad and sweet at the same time.. They have kept this Ol' lady on her toes for sure..lol.
Have fun Lynn and am getting anxious to start up again..
Lynn, it is so hot here, wish I was by the pool.
Kathy, sorry for the loss of husbands friend. I know some friends are like family, and it is just as hard to lose them as family.
I agree with you Marion and am anxious to get started again.
Glad you are getting some scrapbooking done, Sharon. I was planning to, but after going through a million pictures I got overwhelmed and decided to just put them in albums once I figure out how to group them!
Lynn is missed, but the good news is, she will be back home soon! (Well, good news for us, not for her vacation to be over!)

I have found it is easier to scrap a theme or a trip, not so overwhelming. Just get the photos from one trip and scrap them or do a mini album of an event. I did one of my Mom' 80th one year. Or I did an Abe of my grandchildren. Here it is: Stampin Up! Gallery: VSBN SMADSON - Page 1 - Cards & More - Splitcoaststampers
It is easier tha looking at all of them at same time.
Your pages are wonderful! I wish I could bring you here to do mine! I guess I just don't have themes. I just wanted to get pictures together according to years. I did scrap two pages for DS #2 when he and I went on a missions trip to Puerto Rico. And I scrapped a page of DS#1 in his fireman's gear....I guess I could do a few more of those types of pages (first drivers permit, hunting trip, etc) and then just put all the others in photo albums. I was looking at the tons of pictures rather than just picking a few. Maybe you just inspired me to do a few pages and that's better than none, right?
Love your pages Sharon..
Kathy love your picture as well...
Some of the company left today and the rest tomorrow.. I am very tired but it was a great week....
My niece stopped by and we started planning her wedding invites. I think we got a great start on this. She is getting married on my wedding anniversary!
Great photo Kathy! Glad you might be inspired to scrap some photos, but sounds like you will be busy with making wedding invitations!
Thanks Marion for comment about my pages.
I might scrap today as my Sister is still in town this morning to help with Mom. She leaves this afternoon. She and her husband took my husband and I out to Olive Garden last night for our 47 th anniversary, which is on Tuesday. We have enough food leftover for all day today. Not cooking today!

I knew there was something I wanted to do the other day! I was going to send Vickie and DH an anniversary card! I totally forgot! Rats!! Happy Anniversary! We celebrated 37 in June...
I've been shopping (my DH took me to a HL - closest one to me - about 1 hour away) - craft supplies - on Saturday, and then the rest of Saturday & yesterday I was working on cards for Operation Write Home. They had their Labor Day Challenges done this weekend, will be accessible thru 9/8.
Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend!!
