May is National Firefighters Month. What these folks face every time the bell rings is very scary.

Wow.. May is only a few days away. I am determined to get cards out on time this month. No excuse. I have them made. Just need to personalize, address and have ready to mail.
I need 1 anniversary card and 12 birthday cards. I will also be adding Thank You cards and dropping off at a couple of Fire Stations this month. Thinking now I wish I'd looked for a fireman's helmet cookie cutter while I was at Hobby Lobby last week. Maybe I'll keep that in mind for next year. This year, boxes of donuts it is! I need to send something special to one of my BIL's. He is an assistant fire chief for a volunteer dept. Those guys deserve extra special love. They deal with outdated equipment and still do their best when the bell rings. |
I'm actually mailing cards on time this month. May cards go out tomorrow.. if not today. We shall see how my morning goes.

I made 1 yesterday for a birthday today. I made others last month for this month as I had to mail them to the UK. Need some for June. Slack card month for me but I'll be making some birthday, thank you and get well cards when I have time. Happy Friday
