Default Sketch16Sep1

This single page sketch actually contains 5 photos, but since two are smaller sizes, hopefully it still doesn't seem crowded. For added variety, you could change out the large circle for a differently shaped die-cut piece. Have fun scrapping, and as always, feel free to flip, resize, alter, or do whatever you need to make the sketch work for you. Minor tweaks are expected, but if you feel a major overhaul is needed, you might browse through some of the older sketches for inspiration. There is no time limit for sketch challenges, so use them at your leisure.

Got mine done. Not sure I'm loving the diagonal lines on the sketch. Do you think they make everything look lopsided?

Cheryl, I think it looks fine. Adds a lot of interest. I never have right size photos, or they go the wrong way for the sketches. I love your sketches, I just have a hard time putting my photos in a sketch. I know I can crop them, but.. I will try! . Like I said they are great. Most of my photos are 4x6. Once I ordered 4x4. I didn't like how they came out.
And most my photos go width wise, not up and down. I guess, I don't turn the camera!
Maybe my older photos which I have been scrapping are smaller. Might try them.

But I will work on this!

Sharon, I will be happy to create a sketch featuring horizontal 4x6s! Let me get to work on that right away, and it will be ready for the week 3 double page challenge.

Love this sketch. Was challenging because I wanted it to be a two-page layout so had to turn the pages around and figure out how to make them flow from one page to the other and fit my pictures. I had an Echo Park paper pack that I purchased eons ago and thought was perfect for the November layout and since I didn't have enough pictures for the right side used a 3x4 card and a 4x6 card (that I cut to 3x4) from the package. I love fussy cutting (I know I'm weird) but I find it therapeutic ... the banner across the top was actually a 4x6 card that I fussy cut and inked.

Here is mine, it deviates quite a bit as I'm working on single photo layouts at the moment. You can however, totally tell that I've used this sketch as a launching point. Thanks for the sketch!!

Love how you worked out the challenge of making this a double pager. I probably would have just put one diagonal piece on each page in the opposite corners, but I like your solution better!
