This single page sketch was actually based on a layout I created. I loved it so much that I made it into a sketch! It's very photo-heavy, but you can always delete one or two if you don't need this many. Have fun scrapping, and as always, feel free to flip, resize, alter, or do whatever you need to make the sketch work for you. Minor tweaks are expected, but if you feel a major overhaul is needed, you might browse through some of the older sketches for inspiration. There is no time limit for sketch challenges, so use them at your leisure.

Here's my first LO for April. I loved Cheryl's sketch and thought it would work for my final page on the LFC Visit we took our youngest son to many years ago. Wow, he's changed and had his David Beckham hairstyle in these photos :D He leaves in a few hours to travel the world indefinitely, starting in the USA, South America, Canada and he's hoping eventually he will end up in the UK & Europe with my family. Whilst he is out shopping for last minute items (he's a boy....LOL!), I quickly stuck this together. As much as we are happy for him to travel, we can't help but worry as he will be travelling alone for much of the time. I'm saddened that I hadn't finished his albums before he left, but he tells me there will be more to add when he returns...mmmm! Our second son and girlfriend are also currently in the US (NY) and in a couple of weeks will be travelling Canada. I sent them a message asking if they saw a Michaels store would they mind getting me a couple of items which are expensive here. I woke this morning to a lovely message from them and a photo of them inside a store with some goodies. Our eldest son and his family will also go on holiday to the other side of Australia in a few weeks, and we will be heading off to Asia for a week. At that time not one member of our family will be here in our State. I know how truly blessed we are to be able to travel in this beautiful world of ours, but I can't help worrying about things that may never happen. I hope you all don't mind me writing this. I think I need to do more LO's and soon...as well as remind myself of my favourite quote: Carpe Diem ;) Thanks for taking time to look at my LO. Happy weekend everyone |
