Yucky SCS ad at bottom of page

Is anyone else bothered by the gory ad at the bottom of the page that I've noticed today? Automatic Transfusion or something from Blockbuster, When you pass over it w/your mouse another dropdown opens up about it being a Gorefest and some gross person with blood pouring out of their mouth.

I understand SCS has to sell their ad space, but can't it be screened for violence, etc first?:confused:

I HATE, HATE, HATE all the ads that throw up a huge obnoxious window when your mouse barely passes near them. So annoying!!! I don't care WHAT they say.

Haven't seen that one, but then again I have learned to pretty much ignore all of them.

Yeah, I saw it yesterday. YUCK! And the pop-up/roll-over windows ARE annoying!

my apologies you guys, these types of ads shouldn't be running. it's difficult sometimes to control them before they show up, but once reported we can shut them down. when you come across an ad or ad format that you don't like, let us know the subject matter and most importantly, the address that the ad leads to. with that information we can prevent them from being displayed.

For the most part unless it has to do with something I want or need (or don't need but want)...I don't really pay any attention to the ads. Some I do find to be quite informative and much appreciated but of course there will always be ads that annoy us!

Thanks SO much Jenn and Daven! I didn't know that the ads could just pop up on their own, I thought perhaps you actually had Blockbuster as an ad client and that they maybe ran something you didn't get to approve. Thanks for "censoring" that and making this a "good vibe place" ...I know it's my "happy place" ;)
