I have been cleaning up my subscriptions; and getting really
frustrated how many times I have had to look at the ad-
"are you the average man" "stand out in the crowd"
what determines how many times these ads appear and is anyone else
getting turned OFF, having to view these so many times?

I'm sick of "you've been selected for a $1,000 Wal-Mart gift card" and "you've been selected for a free Wi." What are the odds of being selected, if you hear it everytime you change screens?

If there are ads that are bothersome, please post here in Site Suggestions or email [email protected] with a link (to the site the ad leads you to), and if possible, a screen shot of the ad. That's what we need to have them removed.
these ads are at the top of bottom of the galleries and posting on this site.
Where we used to have the stamp companies; now i see this same ad over and over. Are you telling me it's just my computer? I do have pops up blocked, it not pop ups

When I go to the gallery, the banner ad and 2 out of 3 of the bottom ads are all stamping related. The only one that is not: flat stomach rule: obey
I cut out 2 lbs of stomach fat per week by obeying this 1 old rule.

this question comes up so often, we really should post a single broad answer someplace. the short version is, we're hyper-aware of our ad content. we're annoyed by the same things you are. so if you see something annoying or inappropriate you can bet that we'll feel the same way.
at this point we aren't always able to eliminate bad ads before they show up. there's a long and ugly story behind all that, it's a constant source of frustration and something we're trying hard to gain better control over.
at any rate, if you see a bad ad, I want to know about it. send me an email directly at [email protected] and give me whatever info you can - subject matter of the ad, web address, screen capture.
