I posted something about my daughter and it's gone. Did I do something wrong? (I have a habit of screwing up.) I'm sorry. Just let me know. Click on my blog if you want to read about my daughter. I guess it's not allowed to be posted here.
Again- so sorry.

gina- It looks like it was moved to the "can you believe it?" forum...not taken away :-)
Oh, thank you! I guess I wasn't naughty this time.
I tend to get excited and post stuff, then realize, oh shoot! I can't say that. NO EDIT BUTTON! I just have to wait to get in trouble. I bet my kids would love an edit button.
Okay, thanks for telling me where to find it!I hope others will go all the way down there to read it!

Hi Gina... If one of your posts seems to disappear just click on your name and on "Find more posts by GinaK." If it has been moved to another forum, you should be able to track it down.

It should also appear in your UserCP, under subscribed threads, no? At least, I thought our own posts would appear in our UserCP when we click on "subscribed threads" . . . ?

No, even when you start a thread you have to click on the "Subscribe to this thread button." And how would I know this information?? 'Cause I have now and then totally lost track of one of the threads I started and to go hunting for it.
No, even when you start a thread you have to click on the "Subscribe to this thread button."
I think you can set your UserCP to automatically subscribe you to threads you post to. This includes threads you start but I don't know if there is a setting specifically for that.
I am automatically subscribed to all threads I post to, I think by default. (Which is a good thing cos I recently had a totally non-stamping related thread moved into GST -- would never have found it otherwise. )

Aaaah, yes!
Gina, you might want to check your "options" in your UserCP, and if it's not set to auto subscribe to all threads you engage in, click that box.
That way, you can find yourself again!
LOL! Oh, geeze, I crack myself.

Thanks so much. I didn't realized I could do that. That helps!

I didn't know that either. Thanks so much for the input!

You're right Mel. I did not know that was in there. Mercy me, if I add that option I would be getting TONS of email, since I'm always kibitzing on one thread or another. Guess I better stick with the thread tools button.

Garnet, you can actually set it so that you do NOT receive email notifications of your subscription(s).
