hmm, something's up Suzette. you might check the file size of your cards before uploading (on Windows if you right-click a file and choose Properties it'll show you the file size).
if they're more than 200k or so you'll probably want to downsize them before uploading, especially if you're on a dialup connection. make sure the format is jpeg, save them at no larger than 640 pixels wide and 480 pixels tall, and use a 70% quality setting on the jpeg.
