trouble sorting in gallery

I like to sort cards in a particular set in the gallery by "views" in descending order. Lately, I have been having intermittent problems with this. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't work, I get a message that says "This category does not contain any images."

Just now I did a search for "Tab Punch", and 103 pages of stuff came up. Then I tried to sort in this way, and I got this message and all the pages disappeared.

What's up?

I'm still having this problem. Anyone else???

Today I was sorting a different way. I was sorting by date in descending order, and I got a message that says "this category does not contain any images"
