OK, my login problem has gotten so bad I can't even upload a photo anymore! Daven, I've tried everything, deleting cookies through the login problems link, deleting them through the Tools menu, I've even downloaded the browser you suggested. Nothing is working, the problem is getting worse and I am about to give up! I just don't know what to do anymore. I love participating with the wonderful members on this site, but my problem is progressively preventing me from doing so.
Any other ideas??
I don't have a solution for your problem, Janice, but consider yourself cyber hugged! I just can't stand computer problems! Hang in there!! Someone will find a solution for you!

I used to have an awful lot of problems staying logged on and uploading. I followed the advice about deleting cookies, checking the box to be logged on automatically, and nothing worked. I finally stopped logging off when I left the site, and that seems to have done the trick... no more problems!

JK, a couple of other things you might look for. long shots perhaps. you might look for a system-wide setting that disables cookies. I don't know whether Windows allows this at the operating system level or not, but something to check in amongst your network or internet settings somewhere. Also, whether you might have some software installed that deletes cookies - anti-virus software perhaps, or one of those "cache and cookie cleaning" apps that purports to keep your computer optimized.
there's *something* on your computer that's causing this problem. the fact that both browsers are doing it means we can probably eliminate a particular browser as the cause. I may have asked you already, but what about other sites? if you login to Yahoo groups, for example, are you able to retain your login?
hang in there! there's a solution out there somewhere, we just have to find it!!!
I DONT' KNOW IF THIS WILL HELP, BUT.... I USED TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM...EVERYTIME I JUMP BACK AND FORTH I WOULD HAVE TO CONTINUALLY LOG IN.. BUT NOW ITS SET UP THAT ONCE I CLICK ON SCS I'M AUTOMATICALLY LOGGED IN TO EVERYTHING. MAYBE THAT WILL HELP TO DO IT THAT WAY.
Hi JK,
Another ((((HUG)))). If you remember I was having the same problem. What is working for me is when I log in I'm checking the "log me in every time" box. I have to do this each time that I log in, but it does keep me from getting bounced out. I'm still new and haven't tried posting yet so I don't know if it will work for that. I do understand your frustration. I was new to the whole forum thing and was sure that there was something I was doing wrong, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out what. I hope you can get this resolved because we sure would miss you if you weren't here!!!!!
I don't keep getting booted, but my Privacy thing by McAfee makes it hard to read posts and I can't see attachments. I have to disable it for SCS. There's probably a fix for that, but it's not a big deal to me since I figured that was what was causing me problems. Good luck!

Thank you all for your hugs, advice and support!! I followed Jovi's advice and have been trouble-free since Wednesday!!!
So it seems that the solution is to check the Automatic Login box, then never log off again. Works for me!
Agaun, thank you, thank you, thank you everyone!
