So what happened to the nice banner ads? I have been only getting a square shaped Google ad at the top. They are about 3" square and it's totally throwing off the look of SCS. Too much white space at top.
The shape of the ad at the top has changed from a wide rectangle across the top to a large square on the top left of the page- which causes all the forum posts to be 4" (approx) down from the top. Am I the only one seeing this? Or is it because i'm stuck at work WAAAYYY past my bedtime (1:45am pst)??
Is this a new way of advertising since the change over? Please say it's a technical problem and not intentional!!

I have the same - I was just coming to post about it. Instead of the banner ads, which I am fine with, there is a call-out box with 3 Google Ads. Poorly targeted too, as two are for business-type custom stamps with your name and address. And as the OP said, they push the real stuff half-way down the page :-(.
I've often had them at the bottom of the screen before, but it's the first time they've been up at the top like that.
i'm hoping this is a mistake. even the companies with their own forums no longer have a link to their home pages. this is awful. the whole feel of the site is a mess. Please help!!
