I noticed today that the total number of comments in my gallery increased by a couple. I wanted to read the new comments, so I sorted the photos in my gallery by Last Comment, with the timeframe set to Beginning. But the photo that is listed first after sorting does not have a new comment (neither do any of the photos that show up on the first page). In fact there are photos with no comments mixed in with those that have comments -- theoretically shouldn't all the ones with no comments be at the end if I am sorting them by last comment? It's almost like it's being sorted by some combination of most recent comment and most recent posting date, if that makes any sense.
I've been noticing this issue for awhile, so am I missing something when sorting the photos? I don't select e-mail notification for comments when I post a photo because I don't really want the extra e-mail, but is that the better option?
Thanks, Lydia. There's no hurry or anything. I'll try to remember to start selecting e-mail notification.
If you forget to select at the time you upload, you can always just click "Receive email updates" at any time, for any card. It's down at the bottom of the write-up area just before the comments start.And you can always check what you have notifications enabled for by clicking on Profile when you're in the gallery.
OK, I uploaded four photos today and selected e-mail updates for all of them (one I did while uploading; the other three I had to go back in and click the e-mail update option). I have two comments so far, but I didn't receive e-mail messages. Are the e-mails only sent out once a day, like the thread updates? Or do I just have a gremlin in my gallery?

We were down for almost an hour today so I'm sure our notifications were affected.
