Default Signature help - PLEASE!!!

Ok, I've had this problem since practically day one, but it is finally getting the best of me.

Why is it nearly impossible to center and space my signature? When I have it all formatted the way I want it, I save it, and after it is saved half of it is left justified, half is centered, and there are about five extra lines in there (when I save it initially there are no lines between my name, "it's a boy", and the quote).

What the heck is going on? This really shouldn't be this difficult!

Sometimes you can't see all the extra hard-rights that might be there. Best advice I have (one of the SCS team posted this suggestion a while back when someone else was having problems) is to delete the entire thing and type it in from scratch. Highlight all of the text, and drag the cursor a little farther than you need to, just to make sure you select everything.

No such luck. :(

Deleted it. Started from scratch. When I click "Preview signature" it looks PERFECT. When I save it, I get extra spaces, and some of the fonts shrink.

Or hold down the 'ctrl' button and then press the 'a' button to 'select all'.

Here is what I see:

your name
two spaces
Baby announcement
two spaces
quote
two spaces
author of quote.

Is this what you see?

Ok, I finally got it to let me put the text on consecutive lines... sort of... But now, it adds about eight blank lines at the bottom so I have a HUGE signature box.

If I go in and delete those blank lines at the bottom, it breaks the whole signature up into the same space.

Why is it that other people seem to be having no problem with this? I've even tried changing it on multiple computers with the same results.

I also tried removing all of the formatting and color... doesn't help.

:(

LOL! I KNOW!!! I didn't even do that! The last time I saved it it was "normal", just bigger than it needed to be. I don't know how that happened.

The interesting thing is I just went in to change it and it seems to have worked pretty well!

I'm not touching it for awhile!
