Default Saving Threads as Favorites? Can you do this?

I've only been a member for a few months but I wondered this with both the old format and now with the new format.

There are just some threads that I stumble across that are absolutely priceless.

Is there a way to save them as a "Favorite" thread?

I've heard people now and again mentioning something about Favorites but I'm not sure where this is, how to do it, and what types of things it saves...

Thanks!!

Well-if you save the link onto your browser (as in Click Favorites, then click "add" so that the link shows up on your screen. Mine is on the left side) that is one way.

You can also subscribe to a thread by going into User CP and going down to List Subscriptions. You can choose how you are notified when someone posts to the thread you saved.

There is also a "My Favorites" for the gallery. That is where you can save pictures from the gallery.

Does that help?

Question

I had previously saved some threads as my Favorites on my computer, but when I've now gone to access them, they say they are not there. How do I retrieve those "lost" threads now?

Wouldn't it be great to be able to save threads as Adobe files... ?!?!?!

The links to the old forums are probably a loss. :( On the bright side, if you remember what they are, the searches are *way* faster now!

This is very, very, very bad news for me. (I'd put a sad face here, but that's not working for me yet either). I had a LOT of links to great threads saved. My heart is breaking, but I know a lot of SCSers share my loss. Sniff, sniff.

During trying times such as this, my best recourse is to keep repeating to myself the following mantra:

"Change is good, change is natural."

Linda, I am with you my friend. The same thing happened on another board I frequent when they upgraded not too long ago. In the end the change over there wasn't so great! I see the difference here already though so I have hope! I guess with the good you must accept the bad. Well, let's not sit in sorrow but go find new threads to obsess over! lol
