Removing double posts

I double posted something today and want to remove the second post, but it says I can't edit my post. I thought if I'm registered I could edit posts. Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong? Thanks!

I was impatient in my post and hit the button twice. Anyhow I received a confirmation message stating that I'd submitted a duplicate post and it would not be added. This must be a new feature. I like it! ;)

The forum software will catch a duplicate post *sometimes* if you hit the submit button too many times.

Also, there are only "certain" forums that you can edit in. I know that I can edit in the fun and games forum. :mrgreen:
