Printing from the gallery

With the new look of the gallery, the comments under the posts have a much larger space, and this means that if I print the picture of the card I use a lot more paper in printing the comments, which are not the part that I wish to print. There is now a new option to print only a photo of the card, but if I do this I lose the poster's comments and the recipe for the card. Is there a way to print only these along with the photo of the card, but not all the comments which now take tons of paper?

Hi Inklady,
I don't know if this is the simplest solution for your problem, but when I print out a card that I want to have the recipe for, I start printing it the regular way (not the new way that allows you to only print the card itself), and instead of printing all pages (this is the default mode on your print options page), I select (1) or (1-2) when it asks for a page range on the print options page. Try this and see if that solves the problem for you! You won't get the pages of comments, but you will get the card and the recipe and the first couple of comments. You almost always have to have 1-2 selected to get the recipe, though. Good luck, hope this helps!

Here is what I do (may not be the easiest or shortest way but saves on paper):

Open a word processing program like MS Word or WordPerfect
Copy the picture (Right-click on pix, choose copy)
Switch back to wp program > right click on blank page > choose paste
Go back and highlight/copy/paste the text that I want using same method
print out that page

Thanks for your responses and your suggestions! I appreciate your help. It does look like I now have to use an extra step (or more) to accomplish what I used to be able to do before the changes.
