Default Please help - Important

Is anyone having trouble with their "back arrow button" when you open a thread to read a post? Whenever I open a thread to read one, and then hit my back button, it doesn't work. I called HP, and did a system restore (in case it's my computer, but it's still happening). It's like I'm stuck on the thread I opened.

Please let me know if anyone else is having this issue. Thank you!

By the way, it's not happening on any other forums I go to or blogs, so I'm hoping it's just Splitcoast.

I just tried it and works for me. You can also click on the forum name at the top to go back.

my back arrow works fine. from here in this thread I hit the back arrow in my browser window and I go back to a list of all the threads in the General Stamping forum.

I use Safari...( not sure what version )...and I'm on a Mac.
Hope you figure out what's going on!

It happens to me on occasion. It's hard to explain exactly what is going on, but I am sure it is related to the ads. (In chrome and I think in explorer, if you hold down the mouse button when you click on the back arrow, it will show you the previous pages. A lot of the time it shows the whole history as I think admanager or fb related type sites that I am sure are also ad-related sites.) It happens on other sites as well.

But there are other ways to navigate the site, so I don't find it to be much more than an annoyance.

I'm glad I've never had it here - but I get it all the time in Amazon and it is SO annoying.
What browser are you using?

If you're using IE, there are lots of things that don't work on the internet in general. IE just isn't a modern browser and is the source of most bizarre issues we see.

If you are in IE, try switching to Chrome or Firefox and see if you still have the problem.

I use Internet Explorer, so I guess I'll try using Firefox. Thank you everyone.

I use Chrome. I agree if you are using Internet Explorer that is probably why.

Click on the dropdown arrow to the right of the forward button. That will give you a list of all the pages you have recently been on. Likely you will see a list of ads, which are all the popups on the SCS pages. Look past those and you will find your most recent page. Click on that and you will be taken to your last page.

We don't have pop-ups If you're seeing pop-ups, you might need to run a malware program or clear your cookies.

If you're seeing anything other than a list of pages you've visited, you might have picked up a little bug somewhere.
