Need help.....red x's and number of deleted posts

I know there were some changes made to the server and site.....but can anyone explain the red x's and the number of deleted posts that are showing up on the threads.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Looks like if you hover over it, it will report how many messages have been deleted from that thread... Not sure how useful that is to us. Anyone care to comment?

Just my two cents worth.....but, I don't see knowing how many threads/posts are/have been deleted......but, as a mod in the Wish-RAK forum....it would be nice if I could retrieve one that was deleted accidently!! Right now, I have to get Jenn B involved to get it back. But, I have no clue how much would be involved to have that option either!!

I think it's nice to know if posts where deleted from a thread - that way I can check if it's a thread to keep an eye on for a while. :cool:

I'm not too thrilled with the blue arrow after the name in a quote - seems like you could just scroll up to the original post... :confused:
