I'm trying to resize the picture I would like but even when I decrease the pixels down to 60 X something lower the file size is still bigger than 15.6. If you know what to do to make this work please share.
I just had this issue last night and when I finally figured out *where* to resize my picture, I changed the pixels to 80 and even though the KB's were larger than it was supposed to be (I think it was around 160-170 and they said it should be 150 or less) it was accepted. So give it a try! HTH
I also can't figure out where or how to go about making my picture smaller? Iam totally computer illiterate. The kids do everything.
HELP PLEASE!
In order to reduce it I had to use picture project(Nikon) and email it to myself. Save the picture I emailed to myself and then set it up as my avatar.
I'm sure there was a better way but everything else I tried failed.
Thanks Krabearcub!
Now thanks to you I have an avatar! Isn't it sooo cool! I love how people on this site are so wonderful and help each other all the time. Your directions on putting it in were great also. I did it MYSELF! Can you believe it? Not me! Thank you for putting in the extra time to do this for me. I'm trying my 1st lunchbox today. Wish me luck!

I have adobe 3.0 starter pack, and I cannot find where to resize ANYWHERE on there. Do i need to upgrade it??
No need to upgrade. Just go to Image>Resize>Image Size and then type in 80pixels x 80pixels. Or you can use the Crop tool and set the size of the crop to 80pixels x 80pixels. Then once you've resized it or cropped it use the Save for Web option under the File menu. Set the options to JPEG Maximun, click OK, Type a file name and your ready to upload to the site!
